Extended Stay Deals: For campers planning a longer visit, inquire if there are any discounts for booking multiple consecutive nights, such as a weekly rate that offers a reduction compared to daily rates.
-
Group Rates: If you're organizing a camping trip for a larger group, family reunion, or an organized outing, always ask if Castor River Campground offers special rates for group bookings on campsites or cabin rentals (if applicable).
-

Customer Reviews
It was one of the best camping experience's I've had in a long time! We stayed at the primitive #8 site! All the way on the end, which we preferred because it's only step's from the creek! We will be going back here to stay again! They have most of what you need to enjoy a weekend at the creek! Please follow the No Trace Camping rule's! This valley is beautiful!
We enjoyed taking our little kids there! Went swimming and kayaking, plus they played on the playground. The lady who worked at the office/store was very kind and helpful. There are movies that are available to watch and enjoy. Some people sat on the patio at the store and enjoyed the Cards game. The people also camping there were nice and friendly.
Very clean, well kept camp ground. We were there over the weekend and it was awesome. My 8 year old daughter called it glamping because of the store, shower and bathroom facilities, and all the other amenities. The staff is wonderful as well. It was only about 2 1/2 hours from St Charles County and well worth the drive. Will definitely be back
Nice campground for a weekend getaway. Leona in the office is Awesome. Clean & kept up nicely. Shower house is always clean. Good times there with friends & family. & usually catch a few smallmouth in the river. Thanks
Very nice and clean primitive campgrounds. As my partner and I drove through the RV part of campgrounds we notice campers and RVs were side by side without a "yard" between them. Primitive grounds had plenty of room. Only thing lacking in primitive area was a water source. River access was easy from anywhere on grounds. Staff were helpful and friendly. Showers were clean and restrooms are limited at RV section, with portable restroom for primitive.
