Cedar Ridge Park Campground, as a USACE-managed facility, participates in a clear and often budget-friendly fee structure that benefits campers, especially those who visit during specific times of the year or hold certain passes. It's important to note that while direct "promotions" in the traditional retail sense may not always be ongoing, the pricing structure itself offers significant savings.
One of the most appealing aspects of Cedar Ridge's pricing is its "shoulder season" rates. During the shoulder season, which typically runs from March 15th through April 15th and again from October 1st through November 30th, all campsites, including those with electric hookups, are offered at a significantly reduced rate of just $10 per night. This makes it an incredibly affordable option for enjoying the beautiful Missouri outdoors during the milder spring and autumn months, before or after the peak summer rush.
Furthermore, for those who hold the America the Beautiful Pass, a federal recreational lands pass, the shoulder season rate is even lower, at just $5.00 per night. This pass offers a 50% discount on certain amenity fees, including camping, at federal recreation sites. This is a fantastic deal for seniors, military personnel, and others who qualify for this pass, making Cedar Ridge an even more attractive destination.
Additionally, from December 1st to March 15th, camping at Cedar Ridge Park Campground is completely free. However, it's crucial to be aware that during these winter months, electric hookups are typically not available, and some other amenities like water and showers may be shut off due to freezing temperatures. This "free camping" period is ideal for more primitive or self-contained campers who don't require electrical hookups and are prepared for cooler weather conditions.
For the most up-to-date and specific information regarding regular rates outside of the shoulder season and winter periods, as well as any other fee details, it is highly recommended to check the USACE Stockton Lake website or Recreation.gov. Prices for standard sites during the regular fee season typically range from $14 to $24 per night, depending on whether you choose a non-electric, 30-amp electric, or 50-amp electric site. These various pricing tiers and seasonal discounts make Cedar Ridge Park Campground an excellent value for local Missouri campers.

Another amazing USACE campground. shoulder season is 15 March thru 15 April and 1 October thru 30 November; during the shoulder season all campsites including those with electric are only $10. $5.00 for those with the America the beautiful pass. camping is free December 1 - March 15 but no electric is available during those months. Check the USACE STOCKTON LAKE website for regular rates and more info. This is an awesome campground !
This was our first time here and we loved it! We had a bit of an issue with our electric box and our host was very nice and called maintenance! He continued to check on us throughout our stay as well. Unfortunately maintained never came out, but I'm sure they will fix it for the next people. We loved the views and the whole campground!
We stayed in an electric RV site on loop B (B8). There was a short trail down the hill to the water. There was even a little sandy beach area just down in front of the other sites. This was a popular place to swim, kayak, and boat. There a boat ramp just beside the campground and a beach and fishing dock a short drive away. The hosts were kind and helpful. There is a shower house not far from the sites as well as a vaulted toilet the opposite direction, towards the boat ramp. The playground is directly across the road from loop B.
Most excellent lake. Playground, boat launch, and camping area was fairly clean. There are only a couple of plastic bottles. It's really quiet on a random Tuesday in the middle of summer.
I like the water here .and there's lots of 🌳
