Services Offered

Under its new ownership, Cedarwood Acres is focusing on improving and standardizing the services provided to residents. While the park is a "work in progress," the commitment to enhancing the resident experience is clear. Based on the provided review, and common services in well-managed mobile home communities, here are the expected services:

  • Lot Rental: The core service involves the rental of individual lots to residents, allowing them to place their manufactured homes and establish a residence within the community.
  • Utility Hookups: Essential utility hookups (water, sewer, electricity) are typically provided to each lot, ensuring residents have necessary connections for their homes. Specific details on who is responsible for utility payments (included in rent or separate) should be confirmed directly with management.

  • Digital Payment and Communication System: The park offers modern conveniences for residents, allowing them to "pay your rent via supporting locations for example Walmart and they also have an app you can pay and monitor your rent in." Furthermore, residents "can request repairs or just send in regular complaints as many other things with the app," streamlining communication and service requests.
  • Home Renovation Program: The new owners are actively "fixing up the trailers, completely gutting and redoing them." This suggests a program to improve the quality of homes within the park, potentially offering renovated units for rent or sale, or improving the overall aesthetic of the community.

It is important for prospective residents to inquire directly about which specific services are included in lot rent and which are the responsibility of the homeowner/tenant.

The park has new owner(s) once again, these owner(s) just took over like last year. Not sure if we have more than one owner, bc we haven't personally met the owner or owners yet. The road in the park did get fixed and mailboxes replaced as stated to us, unlike the last owners. They are fixing up the trailers, completely gutting and redoing them, so it's a work in progress. U have the option to pay your rent via supporting locations for example Walmart and they also have an app you can pay and monitor your rent in. You can request repairs or just send in regular complaints as many other things with the app. Overall, I do see alot getting done, which will take time, being each owner don't know what they actually buying until they actually buy this park. If they keep this consistent momentum, I can really see this park looking like it used to when Mrs. Joyce rest her soul was owner over it. FYI make sure u pay your rent on time or before the 5th of each month to avoid late fees!!

The landlords are a disgrace. Most of the mobile homes are abandoned and the ones that are filled with people look like they should be abandoned. The grass is not cut and is a bunch of trash all around the empty mobile homes
