Cherokee Sunset Mobile Home Community is located at 955 County Line Rd, Mooresburg, TN 37811, USA. This address places it in a picturesque and strategically advantageous area of East Tennessee, within Hawkins County. Mooresburg is a charming, more rural community, offering a peaceful setting away from the intense pace of larger cities, yet remaining well-connected to regional hubs.
The accessibility of the community is a significant benefit for its residents. It is situated "close to Cherokee Lake," a major recreational asset in Tennessee known for its boating, fishing, and watersports. This proximity means residents can enjoy lakeside activities with minimal travel time, greatly enhancing their quality of life. Furthermore, the community is also conveniently "close to Morristown," a larger city that serves as a commercial and cultural center in the region. Morristown provides a wider array of employment opportunities, shopping centers, healthcare facilities, and dining options, ensuring that residents have easy access to all necessary amenities. The county line road location suggests a balanced setting, offering tranquility while maintaining connectivity to key local infrastructure. Cherokee Sunset Mobile Home Community, like many established mobile home parks in Tennessee, is designed to provide fundamental services that support a comfortable and functional living environment for its residents. While specific details on every service might require direct confirmation with the park management, common offerings in such communities include:
Well-Maintained Lots: The community provides individual lots for manufactured homes, which are generally expected to be maintained to ensure a pleasant and orderly appearance within the park. Reviews indicate "good size lots" are a feature.
Utility Connections: Essential utility hookups are typically available at each home site, including connections for water, sewer, and electric. Residents usually arrange for their individual utility services once connected to the park's infrastructure.
Trash Removal: A notable service mentioned by residents is that "Trash is included," which is a convenient amenity that helps keep the community clean and reduces individual resident expenses for waste disposal.
Road Maintenance: Internal roads within the mobile home park are generally maintained by the park management, including paving and basic upkeep to ensure ease of access for residents and visitors.
Community Management/Point of Contact: While one review expressed severe dissatisfaction with management and communication, the general expectation for a mobile home community is to have a management presence or a designated point of contact to address resident concerns, enforce community rules, and manage park operations. The existence of "friendly staff" in positive reviews implies a commitment to addressing resident needs.
Community Rules and Regulations: To foster a harmonious living environment, the park establishes and enforces a set of rules and regulations covering various aspects such as noise levels, pet policies, and property maintenance standards for individual lots.
Pet Policy: Given that many residents have pets, a clear pet policy is typically in place, though specific details (e.g., breed restrictions, fees) would need to be confirmed directly.
Cherokee Sunset Mobile Home Community offers several features that contribute to its appeal as a residential option in East Tennessee. These highlights are focused on the practical aspects of community living and its beneficial location.
Affordable Living Opportunity: Manufactured homes often present a more cost-effective pathway to homeownership or long-term rental compared to traditional site-built homes. This makes the community an attractive option for those seeking economical housing solutions in Tennessee.
Good Size Lots: Residents appreciate that the park offers "good size lots," providing ample space for individual homes and potentially small yards or outdoor areas, which enhances privacy and livability.
Community Atmosphere: With "several families" and "very nice" neighbors, the community fosters a sense of belonging and mutual respect among residents. This neighborly environment can be a significant draw for individuals and families seeking a supportive social setting.
Proximity to Cherokee Lake: A major highlight is its close proximity to Cherokee Lake, offering abundant opportunities for recreation such as boating, fishing, swimming, and lakeside relaxation. This is a significant lifestyle enhancement for outdoor enthusiasts.
Convenient Access to Morristown: Being close to Morristown ensures that residents have easy access to a wider range of amenities, including shopping centers, dining establishments, healthcare facilities, and employment opportunities, balancing quiet community life with urban conveniences.

Good mobile home park. Close to Cherokee Lake and Morristown. Good size lots. Trash is included too. The neighbors are very nice and there are several families.
Do not rent from these people they are slum lords! They raise the rent with no improvements to the park. They are violating our constitutional rights in the lease. They only care about the money and charge you late fees even though your rent is paid early. You can't get a hold of any of the owners ever. The park manager is a liar and doesn't forward messages to the owner then makes you look like the bad guy. She's a thief and will rip you off to benefit herself. Beware of this place!
I only drive through here sometimes , looks like a nice , clean neighborhood ..
Nice, quite, peaceful, place to relax and enjoy the lake, horses, dogs and landscape
