Location and Accessibility for New York Residents
Cider House Campground is strategically situated at 3570 Canal Rd, Bouckville, NY 13310, USA. This address places it in the quaint and historic town of Bouckville, a location famed throughout the state for its antique shops and annual shows. Bouckville is positioned conveniently near historic Route 20, making the campground highly accessible for residents coming from various parts of New York, including Syracuse and Utica, which are generally less than an hour's drive away. While the address is on Canal Road, the property also extends to a prominent showfield area right on Route 20, the historic roadway that runs through the village.
Accessibility here is twofold: physical and local. Physically, the location offers a refreshing change of pace from congested areas while still being easy to reach by vehicle. Locally, the campground is uniquely positioned
right in the middle of the antique action. For shoppers and vendors during the major annual antique shows in June and August, this means an unparalleled convenience—you are literally surrounded by vendors and within easy walking distance of numerous shops and local eateries. Chenango Canal Heritage Trail, which runs across Canal Road, opens up immediate access to miles of scenic walking, hiking, and biking trails along the old towpath, as well as opportunities for kayaking and fishing in nearby waterways like Leland Pond. The blend of historic community access and natural outdoor recreation is a significant draw for locals seeking a true Central New York experience.

The premium pull-through sites with concrete pads, fire pits, and swings are such a nice touch and really make the stay feel special. Outside of show time, it’s an extremely peaceful park and makes a perfect base camp for exploring. It’s close to several state parks with plenty of hiking, kayaking, and outdoor adventures nearby. The campground itself is very well kept, with a playground for kids, a laundry room, and a great outdoor common area complete with games like giant Connect 4 and disc golf. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and welcoming. I would highly recommend Cider House Campground and will definitely be coming back!
Sep 16, 2025 · Melissa JackMy husband and I rented a cabin for the night with Cider House, they are essentially sheds but turned into a bedroom. No bathrooms in the cabin but there are some on site a short walk away. Ac/heat available. Comfortable beds and very cute. We also recently went for Antique week for the day. They only take cash to park (5$) but do offer an ATM. They have signs for 'Event parking' through town, but it's generally best for parking for their Antique sale property. Though if physically able, there is a path to get into town.
