CLC Camp Out About
For Texans who truly love the essence of camping – the crackle of a campfire, the smell of grilling outdoors, and the peace of being surrounded by nature – CLC Camp Out in Morgan, Texas, offers a return to basics. This campground provides a straightforward, no-frills experience focused on the core elements of outdoor living. If your idea of a perfect camping trip involves unplugging and enjoying the simple pleasures, CLC Camp Out might be the rustic retreat you've been seeking in Central Texas.
The beauty of CLC Camp Out lies in its direct approach to camping. Guests appreciate the inclusion of essential amenities at each site, such as a grill for cooking up your favorite meals, a dedicated spot for a campfire to gather around, and clean tables and benches for comfortable outdoor dining. These provisions ensure that the primary camping experience itself is well-supported, allowing you to focus on enjoying the natural surroundings and the company of your fellow campers.
It's important for potential campers to set realistic expectations for facilities at more rustic campgrounds. While the core camping experience at CLC Camp Out is generally described as "pretty okay," feedback regarding the shower house indicates that this aspect may not meet all expectations for comfort and cleanliness. Campers who prioritize highly maintained modern bathroom facilities might need to be prepared for a more basic, outdoor-centric approach to hygiene, or plan accordingly with their own portable shower solutions. However, for those who don't mind a rougher edge to their amenities and focus on the natural environment, the park's fundamental offerings for the campsite itself remain appealing.

Customer Reviews
Camping experience itself is pretty okay, there was a grill, a nice thing for a campfire (needed some cleaning) and clean tables and benches. There was one thing however I was so horrified of. The shower house. Upon walking into the showerhouse, (i should add I was in the men’s bathroom), you are met by 2 divided sections, on the left are 2 shower rooms and on the right is a sink, a urinal, and 2 stalls Words can NOT explain the terrible smell that came from inside. There were beetles, spiders, and multiple dead ants everywhere, aswell as urine infront of the toilets and urinal. The toilet paper in the right-most stall was solidified with ants on it, and the other stall didn’t even have a lock on the door. The shower room though, had only a single hook for you to put your stuff on, and a very low-placed shower head with very little water pressure, the worst thing though? There was human fecal matter next to the drain, 2 clumps of it, and that’s where the smell was coming from. Other than that the camping experience was nice.
