Crosslake RV About

For Floridians who embrace the RV lifestyle, finding the perfect blend of serene surroundings and convenient access to city amenities is often the dream. Whether you’re a snowbird seeking a long-term winter haven, a weekend explorer, or simply passing through our beautiful state, the quality and atmosphere of your RV park can significantly enhance your experience. In Jacksonville, a sprawling city that seamlessly blends urban excitement with natural beauty, Crosslake RV Park offers a unique retreat that resonates with those seeking a peaceful, countryside feel without being truly remote.

Crosslake RV Park has garnered a strong reputation among its residents for exceeding expectations. One long-term guest enthusiastically shared, "Stayed at Crosslake for 2 months and it met every expectation I had. They provided full service hookups for 30/50 amps, fresh water, and sewer. The laundry facilities were pretty standard for a lot, with base cost starting at $2.25 for a load in the wash and $2.25 for a load in the dryer. The lot I was assigned was recently graded, so stabilizing on move-in was quick and easy. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and was always available to answer any questions I had. Overall a great experience from the park, highly recommended for any duration of stay you may be looking for!" This review highlights the park's practical amenities and commitment to guest satisfaction.

Another resident truly captured the essence of the park's appeal: "It is WAY better out here than I thought it would be! I love the smell of the country, the gorgeous sunsets, the quiet!!! The manager, Amber, is very polite, helpful, and professional. The prices and location really are key here. It's far enough from the city that you can actually see the stars at night yet only 20 or 30 minutes away from anywhere and everywhere I need to be regularly. The views are gorgeous. Can't talk about that enough." This emphasizes the park's ability to offer a tranquil escape while maintaining crucial connectivity to Jacksonville's extensive services and attractions. The sentiment that "Crosslake RV appears to be in regular state of improvement as well. However, that improvement has/does not disturb the feeling of being in a peaceful countryside" suggests a proactive management approach that enhances the experience without disrupting the core appeal. "It's worth every penny to stay here!" concludes the reviewer, a strong endorsement of its value.

I almost hate to leave a review as the campground is still under construction. There are some sites available, but by the waterside they are still having sites and electric put in. The site we were in was fairly level gravel with a strip of grass at the side. The laundry is outside under a lean-to and has 2 washers and 2 dryers. I believe there is a restroom also. The roads are pretty bad as the fill material has glass, china, plastic and wire in it. They are in the process of putting on Asphalt and pea gravel. I believe most of the RVs were owned by people who work locally as we seemed to be the only people who were around during the day. Fairly quiet, but trains pass nearby and planes fly over. The office was never open during our week long stay and reservation was done on the phone. The construction noise was very minimal as we only saw one dump truck working for a couple of hours, so it may be a while before the campground is finished.

Grass was high, which hid all the fire ant mounds at our site. Not good when walking dogs, hooking up utilities and sitting at picnic table
