As a campground managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in partnership with Hall County Parks and Recreation, Duckett Mill Campground primarily operates under standard public land access policies rather than offering frequent commercial promotions. However, for local Georgians and all visitors, there are specific opportunities for discounts that are typically available:

Senior Pass (for U.S. citizens or permanent residents aged 62 or over)
Access Pass (for U.S. citizens or permanent residents with permanent disabilities)
Military Pass (for active duty military members and their dependents)
Fourth Grade Pass
Volunteer Pass
Holders of these passes can often receive a 50% discount on campsite fees (excluding hookups, in some cases), making camping significantly more affordable for eligible individuals.
Hall County Parks & Recreation Discounts: Since Hall County co-manages the campground, it is worth inquiring if there are any specific local resident discounts or programs, though this is less common for federal sites.
Seasonal Rates: While not "promotions" in the typical sense, campsite fees can vary based on the type of site (primitive tent vs. full hookup RV) and potentially the season, with lower rates sometimes available during off-peak times (e.g., late fall to early spring).
To ascertain current fees, verify pass eligibility, or inquire about any specific conditions, prospective campers should check the official recreation.gov website for reservations or contact the campground directly. Reservations are typically mandatory and can be made online or via a national reservation system.

Customer Reviews
This was our first time camping at Duckett Mill. Overall, it was a decent campground. Most, if not all of the sites, have water views or access. We reserved site 77. It was nice, but a bit busier than we would've liked, as it was on a turnaround and was just far enough from the restrooms that many of our neighbors drove to them. We'd likely stay here again. Although, we'll probably check out some other campgrounds in the area before returning here.
We stayed in site 104. Its near the bathhouse and beach. This is a nice level site on the water. We were able to leave our boat in the water at our campsite. Office staff was very nice. Maintenance staff was great and always cleaning something. Park is well kept. Bathhouse was very clean with great water pressure. Campsites are spacious.
Great campground nestled in the woods. Beautiful views of the lake from the site. Ample room on the sites for setup and play. Some sites were a little close, almost giving the feeling of intruding on neighbors but not a problem due to them being angled away from each other. The bathroom was a bit of a hike, but it was clean and maintained. Great rustic atmosphere.
We enjoyed our stay. Minimal interaction with the staff, but they were all very nice and easy to work with. It seems like no one cleans up campsites after people check out. Lots of charcoal ash in the grill, ash and partially burned wood in the fire ring. A wood pallet was left at our site. The restrooms need a thorough cleaning/ power wash and renovation.
A big factor in our selection of this campground (and our specific campsite) was there being a playground for our toddler. Both the online reservation map, and the paper map we were handed at check-in, showed a playground. We got him excited and walked to the spot on the map from our campsite, only to find an empty lot. It must have been removed and never updated. Pretty easy fix to make on the maps, and avoid confusion/disappointment. It’s kind of pathetic actually. This would have been a 5-star stay as the campground and sites are BEAUTIFUL and the staff was good too. I just don’t understand why a big change like this wouldn’t be updated on the maps. If you’re coming with children beware, there IS NO PLAYGROUND.
