Ginnie Springs Outdoors, LLC is exceptionally well-suited for Floridians seeking a vibrant, active, and distinctly "Florida" outdoor experience. Its primary draw, the seven crystal-clear springs, offers an unparalleled opportunity for locals to cool off and enjoy our state's unique natural aquatic wonders, from casual swimming and snorkeling to serious cave diving. The direct access to the Santa Fe River for tubing and paddling adds another layer of classic Florida outdoor fun. For many Floridians, especially younger adults and groups, the lively "party atmosphere" during peak times is a significant draw, offering a social and uninhibited environment to enjoy with friends. While some reviews note unkempt campsite conditions (like high weeds and uneven ground) and strict security checks during busy periods, these are often secondary considerations for visitors prioritizing the unique spring access and the energetic social scene. The perception of "loose rules" by some can also be appealing to those who prefer a more relaxed approach to camping regulations, as long as it doesn't detract from their core experience. For locals who understand and appreciate the dynamic environment that Ginnie Springs offers – a balance of stunning natural beauty with a spirited, sometimes boisterous, crowd – it presents an accessible, year-round escape that encapsulates a particular facet of Florida's outdoor culture. It's a place to reconnect with the wild, albeit often with a lively soundtrack, making it a memorable and truly local experience.

We were in an RV camper. The prices are extraordinarily high and per person for the condition of the campsite. Our site was not level whatsoever and noted that most of the other sites were about the same. The site had not been weeded. The weeds were a foot high all around the electrical box, water spigot, picnic table and grill. The site was dirt but noticed that other sites had hay thrown on the ground to hold down the dust. We were here on Memorial Day weekend and found out that it would be a party atmosphere. We were not there for the party but couldn’t avoid the loud ruckus of heavy music, people yelling and having fun with lots of weed smoke drifting through the air. Note the quiet hours are between 12 pm and 8. The management was pretty rude but thinking it was because of the huge crowds. Each time we’d leave or enter the park, we got the 3rd degree about whether we leaving or going to return, disregarding our pass altogether on the windshield. They would ask us to lower our windows so our truck could be searched for extra people entering and exiting. We didn’t understand the search and questioning on exiting. The park was slammed with wall to wall people, again because of Memorial Day. So be prepared on a holiday. By Monday most people that were camping in tents had already left. It’s an absolutely beautiful place when the people are gone.
May 27, 2025 · Cheryl RichardsonWe LOVE Ginnie springs, spending time here is so rejuvenating and so nice to reconnect with nature. I will say the rules are loose but we don’t mind, you can relax without staff giving you a hard time. The showers/restrooms are clean and spread nicely throughout the campsite. The campsite lobby offers everything you could need for camping. Highly recommend.
Jun 10, 2025 · Brooke TorrezWould not recommend. The spring was nice but that staff was SO RUDE! maybe try not higher teenagers for a change & grown men with a power trip. Enjoyed my experience tubing all except for the staff and the $60 admission. It is a natural park and I will never again spend that price to visit one. $80 in total for us to get harassed by the staff for being of younger age.
May 22, 2025 · alexis cottleWe enjoyed the natural beauty of Ginnie Springs and had a good time overall, but we were disappointed to see people bringing glass bottles into the water with no enforcement to prevent it. There was also quite a bit of trash left around the springs, and no visible security to manage it. It’s a beautiful place, but it would be even better with more care and oversight.
Jun 10, 2025 · Ray MuzafarovSuper fun! Definitely worth the hype on social media. Even for Memorial Day weekend, it was busy but not crazy. 4 stars for service because we rented a paddle board and the lady didn’t tell me that it was only for 1 person - it wasn’t only until after I had paid and signed the waiver the man with the paddles refused to give me another bc it was only for one person. I understand rules are rules, but please make them clear! Otherwise it was a beautiful place and a great experience. Hit up the lemonade stand! Perfect for a hot day.
