Hugo RV Park is a designated RV park located in Hugo, Oklahoma, within the picturesque Choctaw County. As an RV park, its primary purpose is to provide a safe and equipped space for recreational vehicles and their occupants. It aims to offer essential amenities and a convenient stopover or destination for those traveling through or exploring southeastern Oklahoma. The park caters to individuals and families seeking a straightforward and functional place to park their RVs.
The park's reception among visitors appears to be varied, as is often the case with many local businesses. Some guests have enthusiastically praised the park for its excellent customer service and the cleanliness of its pads and facilities, highlighting a positive experience with staff members like Debbie. This indicates a commitment to hospitality and maintenance in certain aspects of their operation. However, other feedback points to certain practical challenges, such as the condition of some sites, road access, and proximity to highway noise. This mixed feedback suggests that while some aspects of the park are highly regarded, others might require consideration depending on individual traveler preferences and expectations. The park’s commitment to customer interaction and cleanliness, as noted by positive reviews, signifies a foundational effort to provide a good experience.
Hugo RV Park is situated at 1500 Roebuck Rd, Hugo, OK 74743, USA. This address places it in the town of Hugo, a key community in Choctaw County, Oklahoma. For RV travelers, the park's location offers a strategic point for exploring the surrounding areas, including local attractions, natural parks, and fishing spots that southeastern Oklahoma is known for.
Accessibility to the park is an important factor to consider. According to customer reviews, the park is located on a narrow dirt road. It is advised that the "best approach is from the west." This navigational tip suggests that while the park is accessible, RV drivers, especially those with larger rigs, might benefit from planning their approach to avoid any potential difficulties on the unpaved access road.
One notable aspect of its location is its proximity to US Highway 70. The park is described as being "one hundred yards from US Highway 70." While this provides convenient access to a major thoroughfare for onward travel, it also results in "truck traffic noise that is quite loud, even at night." This is a significant point for visitors who prioritize quietude, as the sounds of passing traffic could be a constant presence. For those who are less sensitive to ambient noise or who value quick access to the highway, this proximity could be seen as an advantage. The balance between accessibility and potential noise is a key consideration for anyone planning a stay at Hugo RV Park.

Customer Reviews
Unfortunately not a five star park. It has one nightly site available that is quite rocky and not level. Access to the park is on a narrow dirt road. It's best to approach from the west. The park is one hundred yards from US Highway 70 thus the truck traffic noise is quite loud, even at night. Washing machines were dirty with dog hair thus the results were not stellar. The electrical box is towards the back of the site while the sewer outlet is in the middle of the site requiring either forty feet of electrical cable or forty feet of sewer hose. On a positive note, the bathrooms were clean, water pressure at the site was good.
Hugo RV Park is the absolute best!! Debbie was amazing! She answered all our questions and helped us get on our way quickly. Best customer service and clean pads and facilities. We highly recommend!
Nice little RV park perfect for an overnite stop. We were on an end site, and the utilities were in a muddy area. Other sites did not have that issue. We had an electrical problem with our coach and there were a few mobile RV techs near this campground. We would stay there again if in the area.
Late check-in. Never got the code to the bathrooms/laundry - recommend adding to reservation confirmations). Electric hook-up is a LONG way from sewer & water. Bring extension cords.
Great place to stay. Was there almost a year and had zero problems. Very clean restroom/showers with great water pressure! Staff is exceptional, thank you Debbie! Would highly recommend!
