For Arkansans seeking a convenient, quiet, and budget-friendly spot for their RV or camping adventure, J B's RV Park & Campground in Benton, AR, presents a compelling option. Nestled with plenty of natural shade, this park offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle, while still being easily accessible to local attractions and amenities. It's a place where many find a welcoming atmosphere and a comfortable base for their travels across our beautiful state.
J B's RV Park & Campground is often highlighted by visitors for its affordability and tranquil environment. Many appreciate the spacious sites and the abundant trees that provide natural shade and a sense of privacy. As one recent guest shared, the "campgrounds were very clean and pretty spacious, a lot of trees and quiet." The park also receives praise for its friendly and helpful staff, with one visitor noting, "Both gentlemen I spoke with, one on the phone and then the other one on-site... Very nice and polite gentlemen." This commitment to customer service, combined with well-lit grounds at night for safety and visibility, aims to provide a pleasant and hassle-free experience for new and seasoned RVers alike. While there have been some mixed experiences regarding specific maintenance issues, the core appeal lies in its value, peaceful setting, and welcoming staff, making it a viable option for many Arkansas residents looking for a comfortable stay.
J B's RV Park & Campground is conveniently located at 8601 J B Baxley Rd, Benton, AR 72015, USA. This location places it just outside the immediate hustle of Benton, offering a more serene environment, yet maintaining excellent accessibility to major roadways and nearby attractions.
Situated in Benton, the park benefits from its proximity to Interstate 30, a major interstate highway running through Arkansas. This makes it an incredibly accessible stop for RVers traveling east-west across the state, or for those coming from the Little Rock metropolitan area. From Little Rock, it's a straightforward drive south on I-30 to Benton, then a short detour to the park. For those heading to or from Hot Springs, the park's location makes it a practical overnight stop or even a base camp for exploring the Spa City's attractions, which are just a reasonable drive away. While one review humorously mentioned "Child's Play lane" as an alternative route to Hot Springs, the park's primary access routes are typically well-maintained and easy for RVs of all sizes. The blend of a peaceful setting with convenient highway access makes J B's RV Park & Campground an attractive option for both short-term travelers and those looking for a longer stay in central Arkansas.
Like many independently owned and operated RV parks, J B's RV Park & Campground may offer various promotions or special rates that are best confirmed by direct inquiry. While specific, widely advertised promotions are not detailed in general public information, it is always recommended for interested Arkansans to contact J B's RV Park & Campground directly via phone. They may offer seasonal discounts, extended stay rates that provide better value, or special offers for returning guests. Given its reputation for affordability, potential guests might find that their standard rates are already competitive, but a direct call is the most reliable way to inquire about any current deals or discounts that could apply to your specific travel plans. Their friendly staff, as noted in reviews, would be the best source for the most up-to-date information on any available promotions.

Both gentlemen I spoke with, one on the phone and then the other one on-site. The grounds keeper, Casey, I believe, showed me around, took my payment and let me know the haps of the camp ground. Very nice and polite gentlemen. There were plenty of people there when I arrived. The campgrounds were very clean and pretty spacious, a lot of trees and quiet. If ever, I am going to cross paths with these guys again, I will most definitely stop there again. I only stayed one night, and it was my first night ever in an RV park. Nothing exciting to talk about it. I was only there one night ha ha, but it was like I said, very quiet and peaceful and you could see the stars even. It’s well lit up at night too so that you don’t walk into spiderwebs or your neighbors campers.
Aug 14, 2024 · Chris GuerreroThis is one of the most affordable parks around. Most everyone there is nice but there are a few issues that will keep us from going back. The person who mows throws rocks and junk on your rig, vehicles and whatever happens to be there bc he doesn’t take care to aim the discharge away from campers and vehicles- he shattered our bedroom window the weekend my husband left. Called the office once he arrived home, Austin was on vacation and he never called us back. Several sites have poop sewerage overflowing onto the ground and if you stay near the lake, beware of the chickens that will sit in your, poop on your mat and know that you will track it into your camper and vehicles. You can also launder your clothes cheaper elsewhere. The guy doing the trash rarely changes the bag, he just dumps it so the dirty bag just stays there and stinks up your area. If you’re going to Hot Springs, take the route on the other side of the interstate called Child’s Play lane. It’s a roller coaster for your car.
May 24, 2025 · Bran WelchWe've only been here 1 night. We will be here a while and was lucky enough to get in the long term section. It is quiet and everyone is friendly. We wave to each other. Our neighbors invited us over last night. They have corn hole tournaments which we are looking forward to, I'll just be watching. No children allowed. The laundry room is open 5 to 10. There are bathrooms and showers available. They are cleaned every day. It is so peaceful, I love it here. We've been here 2 month's now and still loving it. People are so nice and friendly. Very helpful also if you are in need. Also there is a fishing pond.
Nov 01, 2023 · Linda AckleyNice park run by a real nice guy that obviously appreciates his customers. Is a great place to stop off from I-30 and is behind enough trees and a small hill to keep the highway noise down. The showers are in great condition and work perfectly. The place is very dog friendly.
Dec 13, 2023 · Dave BowmasterTraveling through & needed a one night stay. Good location off the highway with great signage! Friendly greeter, impressive showers & bathrooms, many pull-thru sites, nice shade and wide lanes. We have a 23 foot Class C but big rigs are accommodated.
