We arrived around 5:00pm to find that office hours are 10am -11:00(30?) then 1:00(30?)pm - 4:00pm. Really needed to do laundry and was happy to see that was open 24hrs. However, I didn’t have $25 in quarters to fulfill the task and there is no change machine available. The load that I did do needed hot water but the water wasn’t hot. I also needed the dryer to be hot but it was not and not everything dried properly. Upon leaving most campgrounds, I really appreciate the opportunity to grab an early morning fresh cup of coffee, but not here since they don’t open till 10am. The park is spacious with trees and grass. Right now there is a lot of mud due to construction. Not sure when the grass patches were last mowed as the weeds were plenty and the grass was long. As well, our water hose could not fit the water tap due to thread depth. Thankfully, my husband had a spare washer that he used to fill the gap. Bring spare washers!
May 21, 2025 · GillianAlways nice staying in a cabin at the KOA. Clean bathrooms, laundry, clean cabins, friendly staff. I wish they weren't $100+ for the smallest cabin (remember when they were $60?), but I'm always guaranteed a comfortable stay. This one has a nice pool and covered sitting area, cornhole, big chess board, basketball court. It's a nicer one.
May 16, 2025 · J MRoad work was being done so it was pretty messy. Nice area though and will probably be nice when the work is done. Staff was friendly. (Many questions aren't applicable for campground. Not getting option to add photos. )
Jun 02, 2025 · Conant SowersThis campground is impeccably cared for. We had a concern about the electrical hook up and brought it to the owner’s attention; he immediately began fixing the problem and offered us a different site. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and the other patrons were kind and considerate of each other. The pavilion is beautiful and the staff showed a video on the big screen (and made popcorn!) for the kids one night. We didn’t use the laundry facilities, but it was clean and appeared to be well maintained. The bathrooms were impressive; clean, everything in working condition, spacious showers, even cute decorations. We’ll definitely be back!
Jul 15, 2024 · Christina KoehnArrived to find out the pool was completely green and closed, due to being shocked. This was our main reason for choosing this location, pools can be a lot of work but you should be able to keep on top of if it is an amenity you offer. The grill in the common area did not work properly, ended up cooking our burgers and hot dogs in the microwave in the laundry room, laundry facility was very clean, but one washer and dryer were out of service and only one dryer got hot enough to dry the clothes on one cycle. We did have fun at the playground, and they did offer balls/horseshoes and bags, although it was so hot during our stay we didn’t use them much. Clean showers and nice lobby. Most of the workers weren’t kind and lacked basic customer service skills.
