We have been coming here for several years and absolutely love the location and beautiful lake view. We come here to hopefully to kick back and relax - which is why i rated this a two star instead of a five star. It isn't as relaxing as we'd like due to the atvs that run through the campgrounds at all hours of the day and night. They are loud and a nuisance.

We are at Robertson's campground and loving it here. The host tells us it is the only 1 of the 3 parks here that has trees. And boy does it have trees. Big oaks are thick here and it's mid Sept, so acorns are bouncing off our camper roof. 😄 Very shady, fabulous lake views and great sunsets. There are so many white pelicans on the lake. A sand bar out in the middle is just loaded with them in the morning and evening. 50+ at least. There are separate campgrounds for RVs and tents. Each RV site has 50 amp and water, with a decent central bathroom building. A dump station is located near the entrance, along with a fish cleaning house. Nice! The grounds are very close to the road, but it is very lightly traveled, (1 car every 20 minutes, typically) so not noisy at all. We certainly recommend this spot. Some sites would be a bit tight or short for big rigs, but we got our 34' 5er into site #10 with no trouble, there are other sites that could accommodate us as well. See our pix from #10.
