Nice little campground to stop and relax during your journey. All the staff are friendly and accommodating. We had planned to stay one night, and then the wind picked up making travel dangerous. There was no problem staying on our site a second night. Also, a huge plus is that this campground offers propane refills and also fuel (including diesel). We enjoyed our stay.
Mar 24, 2025 · JaMonDrewGreat place to stay with clean facilities and a little store. They do not have concrete pads if that is important to you. We had as all issue with fire ants at our site but Mark the maintenance guy was very prompt and helpful in treating for them! Also, you can connect to cable - just need a co-ax cable. We were also able to order in DoorDash here!!
Apr 02, 2025 · Dawn SchroederThis is a nice KOA for a stop-over or a short stay if you are visiting the area. Sites are basic, but are level and the hookups all worked. They have a pool that was closed for the season. The laundry room is well maintained and machines were operational. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They have a nice store and in addition to propane, this campground has a gas station.
Dec 23, 2024 · Deb B.Located just outside Kerrville, great place for an overnight stay. It's not pretty. Next to a mobile home park. BUT. Staff is so friendly and helpful. They have a great store with beer and snacks etc. A tiny pool, a laundry, showers, rec room, and diesel and unleaded gas pumps. They also sell propane. Everything worked well but the cable. Very quiet. There is also a dog run.
Feb 08, 2025 · JoAnne OwensSpent one night on a journey driving from CA to FL. Making a reservation by phone was easy the day of, and check-in was super easy. One of the hosts came out to my camper to assist in getting me in my spot. The campground is off I-10 a mile or two down a curvy road. Go slow and you'll be fine. Entrance intructions/signs seemed confusing, leading me to enter the wrong way. Maybe I was just tired. All in all, this was a good experience, at a fair price.
