Lake Greeson RV Park in Kirby, Arkansas, is one such newer destination, aiming to provide a convenient and comfortable base for your next outdoor excursion.
Arkansas, known as "The Natural State," offers a diverse landscape perfect for RV enthusiasts. Whether you're an avid hiker, a keen angler, or simply looking for a quiet spot to connect with nature, the right RV park can significantly enhance your experience. Lake Greeson RV Park, being a recent addition to the region's offerings, is in a phase of development and improvement, presenting an opportunity for campers to witness its growth and enjoy its prime location. This article will provide a factual overview of Lake Greeson RV Park, outlining its strategic location, the services it currently offers, and its potential features. We'll also provide essential contact information, helping you decide if this developing park is the right fit for your upcoming Arkansas adventure.
Lake Greeson RV Park is conveniently located at 3883 US-70, Kirby, AR 71950, USA. Kirby is a small community situated in Pike County, in the picturesque southwestern part of Arkansas. This region is particularly famous for its stunning natural attractions, most notably the expansive Lake Greeson, which is a major draw for various outdoor activities.
The park's location directly on US-70 (U.S. Highway 70) provides excellent accessibility for RVers. US-70 is a significant east-west highway traversing Arkansas, ensuring straightforward navigation to and from the park for all sizes of recreational vehicles. This direct highway access means minimal hassle when arriving or departing, allowing for quick transitions to your next destination or local attractions. The park's prime spot is specifically highlighted as being a "good spot from the Lake and other areas of interest." This proximity to Lake Greeson is a significant advantage for those looking to fish, boat, swim, or simply enjoy the lake's scenic beauty. Additionally, its closeness to "Bear Creek Trail" indicates great potential for hiking and outdoor exploration right from the park's vicinity. While in a rural setting, the ease of access to a major highway ensures that necessary supplies and services in nearby towns are within reasonable reach, balancing a serene natural environment with practical convenience.
As a relatively new establishment, Lake Greeson RV Park is actively developing its offerings to provide essential services for RVers. Based on initial customer feedback and typical RV park amenities, their current services include:
- Full Hookups: The park provides full hookups, which include readily accessible sewer, electric, and water connections at each site. This is a fundamental convenience for RVers, allowing for comfortable and self-sufficient stays.
- Nice Shower Facility: A significant highlight is the availability of a "nice shower facility." This amenity is crucial for campers who prefer more spacious bathing options than their RVs provide, or for tent campers who may utilize the park in the future.
- Responsive Management (by phone): While owners may not always be on-site, one reviewer noted that the owner "was nice on the phone," indicating a willingness to communicate and address concerns remotely.
- Pet-Friendly Policy: Although not explicitly stated as a "service," the mention of guests having "dogs" implies that the park is pet-friendly, welcoming furry companions (though specific rules should be confirmed).
It's important to note that as a "brand new" park, some services, like Wi-Fi, were in the process of being connected during initial opening, and guests should confirm their availability directly with the park. The park appears to be focusing on solid basic infrastructure while expanding its offerings.

- Nice Shower Facility: The existing "nice shower facility" is a strong positive, offering a comfortable and clean option for personal hygiene, which is highly valued in an RV park.
- Ease of Hookups: The "hookups were easily accessible," ensuring a hassle-free setup process for RVers upon arrival.
While some aspects like landscaping, shade, and site surfaces are noted as needing improvement due to the new construction, these features represent the park's existing strengths and future promise.

Customer Reviews
Booked this 2 weeks before our trip. Stayed 3 nights Memorial Weekend. The place is brand new and hope they are not finished improving it. There is no shade cause the trees planted are still small and all the original big trees are dead from the construction of building the park. The drive and spots have the red clay large rock. Real ankle twisters and a torture. Not for walking on without footwear and watching your step. Had to move big rocks (fist size & sharp rock) to get a small area outside the door of the RV just to sit, we had a large mat. They need concrete pads or better material. The grass wasn't mowed and had no picnic table till the last night of our stay (Sunday). Table would have been nice for Saturday night. It was a really rainy weekend so the red clay drive was a mess. We had dogs, between the red clay and tall grass they were a major challenge and mess. We had red clay water running under our camper from the rain. I gave them 3 ⭐'s only because it is new and has great potential. It is a good spot from the Lake and other areas of interest. They need to get the big dead trees down, even the cedar and the 2 small ones in the center. No one wants to see dead trees at an RV Park . Need a better material for the drive and RV spots. Needs landscaping done badly. At the time the Wi-Fi wasn't connected, which he said they never showed that week to hook up. Good note the shower facility was nice and the hookups were easily accessible. I feel they opened this premature. Never seen the owners but he was nice on the phone. I feel like we were the first campers to stay here. The whole weekend we were the only ones there while the other places were packed but we were committed. We reserved this 2 weeks before and nothing was done before we got there, picnic table, fire rings or even cutting what grass was available to sit at. If they get things done they need to update the pic's on site. The trees in the 2nd picture are dead or about dead. I hope them the best with it. I hope to see better reviews and pics in future then I may consider staying again. Sorry but Not until then.
Great place to stay close to Bear Creek Trail. We’ll definitely be back soon. Thanks
