Customer Reviews
Spent a night here close to Christmas time and absolutely loved it! The view from the end of this island was awesome! We rented one of the cabins and glad we did. It got kinda chilly that night. Only issue was we had to get our key from the office lock box but it wasn't clear exactly were the box was located. We asked a fellow camper and found it just fine after that. Also just be careful bugs do get into the cabin. We got wasps, but they were docile because of the cold.
I had a great camping spot where it was easy to set up with hardly any sticks to clear. It's not hard to walk to the shore. Easy to park your car. Lots of people fish around here. The fire pits are good. And the restrooms are good.
We go there to walk. Lot's of tent camping sites,, but after years of camping we would not camp here die to location of restrooms and there are very few. You have to pay to even just park and it is done over the internet. Senior's can park free but still have to register. It is a beautiful area.
Good space for RVs, I loved it and the showers were very acceptable, the bathrooms same.
Besides having to pay to park, we love coming here and swimming! Hopefully they'll integrate and start dumping sand in the swimming area soon!
