Customer Reviews
This was such a beautiful campground! It was so cool to see the water change when they open and closed the dam! It was a perfect place to kayak and fish and go for walks. There is actually laundry facilities at each of the bath houses. Showers are okay, but there is water hookups, so we did not use the much. Each site has a picnic table, fire pit, charcoal grill, and a little table with a roof over it. Quiet campground with nice hosts and everyone was pretty friendly! We would definitely return in the future!
Beautiful campground. Easy, back-in gravel sites. Picnic tables at every site. Love coming to the COE parks. Great bathrooms with showers.
Awesome Corps of Engineers CG. About 15 minutes from I-40. Campground is well cared for, and sites are well-maintained. This is a rare COE campground that has a few sites with full hookups. Most are 20/30/50A with water, picnic table and fire ring on large gravel sites. Its out in the middle of no-where land!
Lake front camping with plenty of shade, a beautiful lake, and amenities to make it worth the visit. Bathrooms were pretty close and well cleaned with a shower. The spots are long for the RV'n folks and spaced well apart. They have picnic table, grills, place to filet your catch as well as a fire pit. No issues, people were nice, and I felt at peace.
Nice campground. No sewer hookup, but dump station was convenient and clean. Cell phone coverage was very weak during daytime with Verizon but a little better at night. Wifi in spot #15 was non-existent. Spot #15 has no shade so during the day it was hot! Other than that, everything was great.
