While the campground itself is relatively small and can be challenging for larger modern RVs due to the site sizes, turns, and the dump station's uphill location at the entrance, many long-time campers and new visitors appreciate its intimate setting and the welcoming nature of the staff. The helpfulness of the welcome center staff is frequently highlighted by campers, who assist in accommodating new RV campers and navigating the site selection process. I have to start by saying this campground would be wonderful if you had a tent or a very Small pop-up. We have a 30 foot travel trailer and tried two different sites and we could not fit. The staff was very friendly and we were refunded our money. We had to go find another campground so please be aware that these are very small sites. Campground was built in 1976 it is difficult to maneuver with modern RVs. Also, the dump station is on a hill in the entrance and I can’t even imagine what that would be like if more than one person was in line

Some of the spots are a little tight or awkward for a camper..or unlevel, especially in comparison to the Google Map walkthrough. The ladies in the welcome center were helpful in accommodating us new RV campers. The coons are little cuttle troublemakers. Overall we will definitely be back. Makes for a quick trip into Cincy.

This is by far the worst campground we’ve been to in our 20 years of camping. We had to check in at the visitor station, and the visitor station is not equipped for a 32 foot to behind camper to turn around in. It Upon check-in, they did not have maps or printouts of activities. The turned to enter the campground portion was extremely tight again. This was not built for campers. To say our site was on level would be an understatement! And it was loud. Very loud. In looking at the dump station on the way out, we are not sure how it could possibly work. It’s very tight, on a steep hill.

We were skeptical on our first night because it wasn't what we were used to or expecting. However, as the days went on and we interacted with the rangers and visitors center hosts, we came to really enjoy our stay. There are some struggles (the walk up hill to the bathhouse and the dump station on the opposite side), but these are merely inconveniences and not trip disruptions. All in all, we will be returning to Miami Whitewater for future camping trips.

The campground itself is really nice and maintained. It’s quiet, slow pace. The only problem we ran into was the bathrooms and the dump station. I feel like the campground needs to at least have a bathroom built by the porta potties. That hill was atrocious to get up to get to the bathroom. We drove up to shower and use the potty. The campsites itself were pretty level, and park rangers patrolled the area quite frequently. The park is nice for the kiddos it looked newer. You could hardly dump everyone was there at once, and I’m not sure who put and or designed the dump stations on a hill, but it was not the move. Everyone is trying to back up and people were waiting. That was the 0/5… if I was just basing it off the dump station. 3/5 because of the bathroom situation… but other than that a nice peaceful couple of days. It was close to town just in case you forgot anything.
