Pecan Valley RV Park LLC About

For those in Oklahoma seeking a tranquil and budget-friendly RV experience near the vibrant city of Stillwater, Pecan Valley RV Park LLC presents an intriguing option. This smaller, more intimate RV park offers a distinct appeal for guests prioritizing peace and quiet, coupled with an appreciation for nature. Pecan Valley RV Park LLC is not just a place to park your recreational vehicle; it's a serene retreat designed for those who enjoy a more laid-back atmosphere, often frequented by long-term residents.

Located in the scenic outskirts of Stillwater, Pecan Valley RV Park LLC provides a contrasting experience to larger, more amenity-rich resorts. It prides itself on offering a quiet environment where guests can unwind amidst natural surroundings. While it may not boast extensive facilities like pools or clubhouses, its charm lies in its simplicity and the genuine care taken by its management, particularly Eddie, who is noted for his dedication to maintaining the property. This park caters well to individuals or couples looking for an extended stay, or even short-term visitors who prefer a calm setting over a bustling campground.

Feedback from guests highlights the park's quiet nature and its suitability for longer visits. One guest noted a "great experience staying here" for two weeks without issues, appreciating the "small, quiet RV park with a cute pond that brings in a lot of wildlife." This sentiment underlines the park's appeal to those who value a peaceful environment and a connection to local wildlife. It's an ideal spot for those who seek to escape the noise of urban life and immerse themselves in a more natural setting, all while remaining conveniently close to Stillwater’s amenities.

Location and Accessibility

Pecan Valley RV Park LLC is conveniently located at 6403 W 6th Ave, Stillwater, OK 74074, USA. This address places it on the western side of Stillwater, offering a balance between accessibility to the city and the peace of a slightly more rural setting. The location allows for relatively easy access to major roadways, making arrivals and departures straightforward for RVers.

Despite its tranquil ambiance, the park is not isolated. Stillwater’s essential services and attractions are within a reasonable driving distance. While the park itself is noted for its quiet atmosphere, the proximity to W 6th Ave means that guests can quickly reach local amenities. For example, a "nearby laundromat that's really nice (Spin City Laundry Company)" is mentioned as being "right next to Walmart in town less than 15 minutes away." This indicates that while some services might not be on-site, convenient alternatives are readily available in Stillwater.

The park's location is particularly appealing for those looking for a long-term stay, as it offers a consistent, affordable base from which to commute to work or university in Stillwater, or simply to enjoy the slower pace of life. The clear address and established presence make it easy for new visitors to navigate to the park, ensuring a smooth start to their stay. Its position slightly removed from the immediate hustle and bustle of downtown Stillwater contributes significantly to its quiet appeal.

Services Offered

Pecan Valley RV Park LLC focuses on providing essential services that cater to the core needs of RVers, particularly those on extended stays. While it may not offer extensive resort-style amenities, its core offerings ensure a comfortable and functional experience.

  • Full Hookups: The park provides full hookup sites, which typically include electric (30/50 AMP), water, and sewer connections. This is fundamental for any RV park and allows guests to enjoy the conveniences of their recreational vehicle without needing to relocate for utilities.

  • Utilities Included in Rate: The pricing structure, often seen as a weekly or monthly rate, typically includes the cost of utilities. This simplicity in billing is a significant advantage for long-term residents, allowing for predictable budgeting without unexpected utility charges.

  • On-site Management: The presence of dedicated management, with Eddie being highlighted in reviews, suggests a responsive and attentive approach to guest needs and park maintenance. This personal touch can make a significant difference in the overall guest experience.

  • Mail Services: While not explicitly stated in all public data, many long-term RV parks offer mail delivery services to residents, which is a crucial amenity for those using the park as a temporary residence. It is advisable to confirm this directly with the park.

It is important to note that, based on guest reviews, Pecan Valley RV Park LLC does not offer on-site laundry facilities or restrooms. Guests are advised to utilize nearby public laundromats, such as Spin City Laundry Company in Stillwater, which is conveniently located near Walmart. This aspect underscores the park's focus on providing a quiet, basic, and affordable parking solution rather than a full-service resort experience. Guests should come prepared to manage these needs off-site.

Promotions or Special Offers

Pecan Valley RV Park LLC is recognized for its straightforward and competitive pricing, especially for longer stays. While specific "promotions" in the traditional sense (like seasonal discounts or holiday deals) are not widely advertised, the park's inherent value lies in its affordable weekly and monthly rates, which already act as a significant draw for guests looking for cost-effective lodging in Stillwater.

Based on available public information and guest reviews, the pricing structure is a key highlight:

  • Weekly Rate: Approximately $125 per week. This provides a substantial saving compared to daily rates often found at other parks and is ideal for stays of a few weeks.

  • Monthly Rate: Around $375 per month. This monthly rate offers considerable value, making Pecan Valley RV Park LLC a very attractive option for those needing extended accommodation in the Stillwater area. This rate typically includes all essential utilities (electric, water, sewer).

It is always recommended to contact Pecan Valley RV Park LLC directly to confirm current rates and inquire about any specific offers that might be available at the time of your booking. Given the nature of a smaller, privately managed park, rates can occasionally vary or special arrangements might be possible depending on availability and length of stay. Transparency in pricing for long-term stays is a consistent feature, which simplifies budgeting for guests.

If you're an RV owner in Oklahoma, perhaps undergoing home renovations, seeking a temporary base for work or study in Stillwater, or simply desiring a peaceful local getaway, Pecan Valley RV Park LLC warrants strong consideration.

Its primary appeal to locals stems from its commitment to providing an affordable, quiet, and stable environment. This local touch often fosters a sense of community and reliability that larger corporate parks might lack. Pecan Valley RV Park LLC isn't trying to be a luxury resort; it excels at being a clean, quiet, and affordable long-term parking solution with a touch of nature, perfectly suiting the practical and peaceful preferences of many Oklahoma residents. We had a great experience staying here! We stayed for two weeks ($125 a week) and had no issues. It's a small, quiet RV park with a cute pond that brings in a lot of wildlife. There is no laundry or bathrooms onsite, but there's a nearby laundry mat that's really nice (Spin City Laundry Company) that's right next to Walmart in town less than 15 minutes away. Eddie was very kind to us and spends a lot of time keeping the place nice. Thanks for the great experience!

Highly recommend NOT staying at this park. Especially if you are a college student that goes for anybody to be honest. He does not care about you "the guests" property. I would not recommend this place for my dog to stay at, the place is not kept up well and is not worth the $375 for just the average camper to stay there. If you are looking for a nice place to stay for the same money go anywhere but here.

We were denied from being allowed to stay there. My wife is traveling er/icu nurse. Person that runs the grounds said he didn’t want anybody that worked at the hospital to stay there. I would understand if they actually had a community bathroom or laundry room but it is basic camping/living as it gets. There is no reason to be discriminated because my wife is in that community to help save lives. By the looks of the other reviews it’s probably for the best, place sounds like it’s poorly maintained. I would recommend to look at the options nearby.

Absoulty terrible experience. I called months in advance to make sure I would have a spot when moved up for the fall semester. Eddie assured me I would be put on the list and to let him know a bit before I was coming with my trailer. I called about 3 weeks before moving there and he said he remembered me and that all I needed to do was mail him a deposit check with my name and when I'd be moving in. I then called about a week before I had to be there to make sure he got my check and that everything was in order. Eddie told me he had no idea who I was and that he had never spoke with me before. He said he still had a spot though and asked me about my trailer and if I had any pets, I told him I have an Australian Shepherd about 30lbs. He then told me they no longer allowed dogs over 20lbs and said he assumed that I knew that, even though he didn't tell me any of the rules during the multiple phone conversations until after I sent him money. Also none of the rules or regulations are posted on the joke of a website that they have. So after being promised for several months that I would have a spot I now have 4 days to find somewhere to live in Stillwater. If you are a college student needing a spot for a semester or just needing a place to park a camper for a night or two I would strongly advise going literally anywhere but here.
