My grandmother has enjoyed a seasonal site at this campground for the past two to three years, and it has truly become a wonderful place for our family to gather. The variety of activities, along with the inviting pool, make it a very pleasant camping destination. Kris is an excellent manager whose efforts create a welcoming and well-organized environment. I am always happy to return and look forward to many more visits.
Sep 01, 2025 · kaylob pratteI had a wonderful time there day and night! The grounds are tidy, beautiful, spacious, full of amenities and a well stocked store. The staff and fellow campers created a delightful atmosphere, and the cherry on top was the glorious night sky! It was literally awesome to be able to bask under the glow of the Milky Way all night with a chorus of bullfrogs as the backdrop. I look forward to returning often!
Aug 02, 2025 · Luc VachonWe rented the rustic 1 bedroom cabin to see how our dog would acclimate to camping. Prospect Mountain did not disappoint. The cabin was located in front of one of the ponds and the view was awesome. The cabin was spacious enough for the 2 of us and our dog it had a mini fridge, A/C and a microwave which was super convenient. The restrooms/shower faciliites were just a few yards from the cabin which was also great. The restrooms and showers were very clean and well kept. The campground also offers a heated pool, minigolf and RC car racing but we did not take advantage of those amenities but they did look fun. It was a great relaxing experience and we cannot wait to go back.
Aug 19, 2025 · Kelley BeckwithPlace is huge, not enough bathrooms for the amount of camp sites, we stayed in a rustic cabin bathroom were near by but always long wait because they are single toilet and shower. These place is where city crowds go camping and not for the ones who enjoy nature, quite walks, and camp fires in silence with a book, lots of stuff to do, music everywhere, people are loud,(at least everyone was seem happy), pool was nice if it wasn't for the wrestling, diving, yelling from everyone (kids and adults, I guess they consider that fun)These is more like a upscale trailer park. If you are not a city (more inner city) family, this place is not for you. It wasn't for us but we took it as an experience for our kids to get out of their comfort zone and see how other communities and cultural backgrounds behave and for that we are thankful.
Jul 08, 2025 · Emily RoussiThis was our first stay & we had a great time. We stayed in a premium cabin which was wonderful. I highly recommend! The campground is nice & the staff very helpful & friendly. They readily resolved a minor issue upon check in & encouraged suggestions for improvement. Our stay was midweek, end of May, so the campground was quiet, not very occupied. Sites are a bit on top of each other, so at busier times may be an issue for some. I do wish they had trash recycling, but realize the challenges that can go with that (people). There are various activities to do in the surrounding area. Overall, a good choice.
