It is well maintained with lots of room to eat, play and enjoy the water. Restrooms are good. You can have a picnic or grill burgers and dogs. There is an outdoor shower and foot one to rinse off. There are paddle boards and kayaks to rent. There is a very small store with a few snacks, drinks, hot dogs, burgers and ice cream. The cost is $5 a car load to get which is good. Fun was had by all.

You should probably note somewhere when you go to book that your camp sites aren't open until May so people aren't wondering why none of the sites are available to book until then.

We were visiting family that live in this area. We live in west virginia. West virginia state parks are beautiful. This one is right up there with them. We watched our cousin do some fishing. And we rented Kayaks. The water is so clear. We'll have to bring swim stuff for our next visit. Definitely want to swim in the beautiful lake.
