Cute park, but quite loud from road and air traffic. Quite a bit of poison ivy right off driving and walking paths; removing some of the invasive plants that are taking over the park may make it easier to control. On the plus side, the amount of brush and dead trees created a little wonderland for birds. It's a good park for a nights stay while traveling, but not really for a longer stay.
Apr 25, 2025 · Sarah PotterA great campsite with all the amenities. Bathrooms and showers are clean and ready to use. Bathrooms are heated and water gets HOT. Park Rangers stroll through frequently if needed. Plenty of space and plenty of different varieties I’ve included pictures of all the spots near us because there wasn’t detailed ones of each spot.
Apr 18, 2022 · Destiny LNice quiet campground only some of the sites have electric. Bathrooms are clean. We used it as a location to sleep and see things in the area.
Jun 22, 2024 · Nick LafountainBeautiful campground! The pictures posted don't do it justice. It's quiet and peaceful yet so close to town. Bathrooms are clean and camp spots are not too close together. Not all spots have electric hook ups.
Jun 24, 2020 · Samantha GoodmanClean quiet camping. Good value. A downside is that there is only one smallish bathhouse for the entire campground. It might be a long walk from your site. Great cell phone reception but that also means you are close to roads.
