Customer Reviews
My wife and I chose this RV park after doing lots of research. There are plenty of parks in that area, but the Snowbird South RV Park is the most scenic and it's one of the least expensive parks. My wife and I loved walking around the pond, through the woods, and along the creek. My two dogs loved running around the largest dog park that I've ever seen. My neighbors were all really friendly and quiet. The couple who manage this park, Teresa and Wendel were so patient, friendly, and accommodating. It was much appreciated. We also really liked playing BINGO in the club house. Although it feels very rural there, you're still close to fun towns like Leesburg, Wildwood, Bushnell, and Webster. Overall, I had a wonderful time during our 2 month stay and I highly recommend that you give this RV park a chance. You won't be disappointed!
It was not a terrible stay quiet. Everybody kept to themselves no real attraction to the place either out in the middle of nowhere. The thing that gets me was something as simple as a deposit that was discussed to be returned at the end of the stay .. ended up staying 3 of the 4 weeks I paid upfront I tried reaching out to the owners/management several times in that third week trying to inform them I was going to be leaving early. They did not even bother to answer my calls or call back. Finally I was able to speak to somebody three weeks later, I called out of the blue after sending several emails with no response. I got somebody on the phone to discuss my deposit. I was informed that my electric was going to be taken out of it. I’ve had it hooked up for months at a time before so I know approximately the usage of my RV they’re claiming it was $85 of use in three weeks it was actually cool in Florida during the time period so nor heat nor air conditioner was used to an over extent to create that type of bill, but I agreed with their billing and was informed that I would get my $15 back within the next few days and it’s going on several weeks later again and they decide not to answer the phone or return emails so they had no intent on returning any of that money, these places should not be able to call them a deposit and keep your money. I did nothing wrong. My site was cleaned up thoroughly. I caused no problems. No complaints but yet they still decided that I did not deserve my deposit back after telling me they were going to send it to me. Stay there at your own risk. Just know you won’t get your deposit. Return returned.
Love this place. The Rv spaces are large and it is very quiet here. Just the way we like it
A small, tucked away, quiet campground, with mostly live in folks. It's pretty far from anything, not very scenic, but peaceful. I did find the bugs to be rather intrusive...roaches, mice, and crazy amounts of fire ants, however as stated this is mid fl summer country living
Very friendly tenants that camp there they were actually very helpful. The guy at the front desk knows the people in the park personally he is involved in the pleasant ambiance of the place. I was impressed.
