Stoll Manor About

Florida’s diverse housing landscape offers various options for residents seeking a place to call home, ranging from traditional houses to apartments and mobile home parks. For many Floridians, mobile home parks can provide an accessible and community-oriented living solution. These communities often aim to foster a sense of belonging and offer a more manageable lifestyle. In Lakeland, a central Florida city, Stoll Manor Mobile Home Park is one such community, providing residential opportunities for those seeking mobile home living.

Stoll Manor operates as a mobile home park designed for residents seeking long-term living arrangements. Like any community, individual experiences within it can vary, and prospective residents should always consider a comprehensive view. The fundamental purpose of a mobile home park is to offer individual lots for manufactured homes, allowing residents to establish their personal space within a managed environment. For locals in Florida, this model often presents a more attainable pathway to homeownership or a practical choice for those looking to downsize their living situation.

While the core concept of mobile home parks is to provide stable and affordable housing, it's evident from recent public reviews that Stoll Manor has faced challenges related to management practices and community relations. Concerns have been raised regarding perceived inconsistencies in rule enforcement, particularly concerning tenant behavior and property regulations, as well as alleged violations of Florida State Statutes regarding resident notification and access. These reviews highlight the critical importance of due diligence for any prospective resident, emphasizing the need to thoroughly investigate the community and its management practices before making a commitment.

Despite these reported issues, understanding the typical structure and general offerings of a mobile home park can still provide valuable context. This article aims to offer a factual overview of Stoll Manor Mobile Home Park, detailing its location, the services typically found in such communities, general features, and providing essential contact information. It is crucial for anyone considering living here to use this information as a starting point for their own independent research and direct inquiry, ensuring they gain a complete and accurate understanding of the current living environment and management approach.

Location and Accessibility

Stoll Manor Mobile Home Park is located at 1123 Walt Williams Rd, Lakeland, FL 33809, USA. This address places the park within the city of Lakeland, a significant and centrally located city in Florida's Polk County. Being situated on Walt Williams Road suggests a more localized residential street, characteristic of many established mobile home communities that aim to offer a quieter living environment away from major thoroughfares.

Lakeland itself holds a strategic position in Central Florida, approximately equidistant between the major metropolitan areas of Tampa and Orlando. This offers excellent accessibility for residents to both urban centers via Interstate 4 (I-4), a critical transportation artery in Florida. For Floridians, living in Lakeland means being part of a city that blends historical charm with modern conveniences, providing a diverse range of opportunities for employment, education, and recreation.

Residents of Stoll Manor would benefit from access to Lakeland's extensive amenities. Within a short drive, one can find a variety of grocery stores, pharmacies, healthcare facilities (including Lakeland Regional Health), banking services, and diverse dining and shopping options. Lakeland is well-known for its numerous picturesque lakes, such as Lake Morton and Lake Mirror, which provide beautiful settings for outdoor activities like walking, jogging, and enjoying nature. The city also boasts a vibrant downtown area with cultural attractions, local businesses, and community events throughout the year.

While Walt Williams Road may not be a high-traffic route, its location within Lakeland ensures that residents are well-connected to the city's essential services and recreational offerings. This balance between a potentially more secluded neighborhood setting and convenient access to urban resources makes Stoll Manor a practical consideration for those seeking an affordable and established living environment in Central Florida. The ease of navigating Lakeland and connecting to broader regional destinations contributes to the overall accessibility for residents.

  • On-Site or Accessible Management: Mobile home parks typically have a management presence or designated contact to handle resident inquiries, address concerns, and enforce community rules. (Note: Reviews suggest this aspect has been a point of contention for some residents, emphasizing the need for direct inquiry into management practices).
  • Internal Road Network: The park provides and maintains the internal road system for easy access to individual lots and convenient entry/exit.

Conclusion: Why Stoll Manor is Suitable for Locals

For Floridians seeking an affordable housing option in Central Florida, Stoll Manor Mobile Home Park in Lakeland could represent a possibility for long-term residency. Its suitability for locals, however, must be evaluated with a clear understanding of both its fundamental offerings as a mobile home park and the significant concerns raised in recent public reviews.

The primary appeal of Stoll Manor, like many mobile home parks, lies in its potential to offer a more financially accessible pathway to homeownership or stable long-term residency compared to traditional housing in the Lakeland area. For individuals or families seeking to manage their housing costs effectively, this economic benefit remains a compelling factor. The park's structure provides individual leased lots, offering residents their own personal space within a defined community.

Geographically, the park's location in Lakeland is undoubtedly convenient for Floridians. Situated on Walt Williams Road, it allows for relatively easy access to Lakeland's extensive urban amenities, including grocery stores, healthcare services, diverse dining options, and recreational facilities. Lakeland's central position in Florida also provides good connectivity to larger metropolitan areas like Tampa and Orlando, offering broader opportunities for employment and entertainment. For residents who value convenience to city resources while seeking a potentially quieter neighborhood setting, the location fits the bill.

However, it is crucial for any local considering Stoll Manor to engage in thorough due diligence. The serious concerns raised in recent reviews regarding management practices, alleged violations of state statutes, lease inconsistencies, and unaddressed tenant issues cannot be overlooked. For a mobile home park to be truly "suitable," it must provide a respectful, transparent, and fair living environment alongside its practical housing benefits.

Therefore, while Stoll Manor offers the basic framework of mobile home living in a desirable Central Florida city, its suitability for locals will heavily depend on individual tolerance for potential management challenges and the outcome of direct, in-depth inquiries. Prospective residents must proactively investigate current conditions, review all legal documents, and seek direct clarification on all policies to determine if the community aligns with their expectations for a secure and comfortable home.

Wish i could ssy this is a safe place to live but it’s not. The management “Analysse” caters to her favorite tenants. There’s one tenant who gets to put up his constant political flags, but nobody else can put up any flags at all. This tenant has cursed, and threatened young children! He’s a scary man with nothing being done. Be careful of this community. I received a general email to send them. It insane how other tenants can not put up flags at all, no flags to represent anything but this man constantly puts up offensive things and threatens people all the time (young children at that). They do not care! DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS COMMUNITY, unless you’re on hard time. They will lie, and con you! The old management was fired (google it it’s out there). Have a blessed day all

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ Serious Management Issues at Stoll Manor Mobile Home Park I am deeply disappointed with the management at Stoll Manor Mobile Home Park. Recently, the community has taken actions that violate Florida State Statutes and the terms of our rental agreements, creating unnecessary stress for residents. 1. Obstruction of Access: Blockades were placed without any notice or explanation, limiting access to certain lots, including mine. This not only disrupts our daily lives but also appears to be selectively targeted. 2. Failure to Notify Residents: Under Florida Statutes Chapter 723, management must provide written notice 90 days in advance for changes impacting tenants. This legal requirement has been blatantly ignored. 3. Concerns of Discrimination: The selective nature of these actions raises serious concerns about potential discrimination against certain residents, including myself and my neighbors. 4. Breach of Contract: The rental agreements and community prospectus are being disregarded, eroding trust and creating a hostile living environment. Residents deserve to live in a community that respects their rights and treats everyone fairly. Until management demonstrates accountability and compliance with state laws, I cannot recommend this community to anyone considering living here.

My parents have lived in this community for more than a decade and now the new administration has preference with certain neighbors and apply the rules to whoever they want. My father for having a chair in his floor, these people left him paper to move them, they doesn't allow you to have something to relax outside in your grass area or floor. While others have the tall grass full of garbage and trump and political flags and their destroyed mobile homes, they don't do anything. Don't live here if you don't want to have a headache..

This is the worst place I ever lived, the administration are abusive and they ignore your phone, one day I was calling from outside the office and I saw how the administrator cut off my call and didn't answer me. I confront her and she tells me that she never heard the phone. Annually they increase the price of the floor , you can't have a simple grill, why do they complain. The maintenance man is an inconsiderate man who when he passes through the streets with the blower throws the garbage on your grass.

The pool could use cleaning. The pool area has no lounge chairs. The old playground equipment was removed and new put in but they don't have any swings. Some of the homes are rough looking, dirty, and junk in the yard. But, it's quiet for the most part.
