Our goal in this article is to give you a clear, engaging, and informative overview of this park, drawing directly from the experiences shared by its residents.

We’ll also address a specific concern raised by a past resident to provide a fully transparent picture of what you can expect.

Location and Accessibility

The Little RV Park is conveniently located in Grape Creek, TX 76901, USA. Grape Creek is a rural community situated approximately 13 miles northwest of San Angelo, a larger city known for its vibrant community and amenities. This location offers the best of both worlds: the peace and quiet of a more rural setting, while still being within a reasonable driving distance to essential services, shopping, and entertainment in San Angelo.

For Texans traveling through the region or those looking for a longer-term base outside of a bustling city center, Grape Creek provides a desirable environment. U.S. Route 87 runs directly through Grape Creek, providing straightforward access to San Angelo and connecting to larger highways for broader regional travel. This means RVers can enjoy the tranquility of "country" living while still having easy access to major routes for their travels.

The community of Grape Creek itself is noted for its spacious lots and a more relaxed pace of life, often favored by those seeking to escape city traffic and restrictions. While specific details about direct highway access to The Little RV Park itself aren't provided in the reviews, its location within Grape Creek implies general accessibility for RVs. Furthermore, the mention of "gocarts race" in one review suggests that there might be local attractions nearby that add to the appeal of the area for families, although the closest known go-kart tracks like Formula Fun in Abilene are a drive away, indicating the need for a vehicle for most entertainment beyond the immediate area.

Services Offered

Based on the feedback from residents, The Little RV Park focuses on providing essential services that cater to comfortable long-term and short-term RV living. While a comprehensive list of all amenities isn't provided, here are the key services highlighted:

  • Full RV Hookups: It is standard for RV parks to offer full hookups, including electrical connections (typically 30 and 50 amp), fresh water, and sewer connections at each site. This allows for self-contained living within the RV.
  • Cable Television: One resident explicitly stated, "You get free cable." This is a valuable amenity for entertainment, especially during extended stays or on evenings when outdoor activities aren't an option.
  • Wi-Fi Access: The park provides Wi-Fi, although the review mentions, "The WiFi at the park is not very good. Nice people living here rent did go up but is still affordable. The people that own it are trying to make it better just takes time, wishes there was an on site person." This indicates that while Wi-Fi is available, guests might consider their own mobile hotspot solutions for more reliable or demanding internet use.
  • Affordable Pricing: A significant highlight is that despite a rent increase, the park is "still affordable." This commitment to competitive pricing makes it an attractive option for budget-conscious RVers, especially those planning longer stays.
  • Supportive Owners/Management: The most resounding positive feedback centers on the "Great owners! They really work with you to make sure you are doing well and comfortable." This level of personal attention and willingness to assist guests is a paramount service, fostering a welcoming and secure environment.
  • Community Atmosphere: The mention of "Nice people living here" suggests that the park cultivates a friendly and respectful community among its residents, which can greatly enhance the living experience for long-term guests.

For detailed information on all services, including any additional facilities like laundry rooms, restrooms, or common areas, contacting The Little RV Park directly is the best approach.

Features / Highlights

The Little RV Park stands out with several key features that contribute significantly to a positive guest experience, particularly for those seeking an accommodating and community-oriented environment:

  • Exceptional Owner Support and Engagement: The most prominent highlight is the "Great owners! They really work with you to make sure you are doing well and comfortable." This hands-on, supportive approach by the owners is invaluable. It indicates a genuine care for residents' well-being and a willingness to address needs, fostering a sense of security and belonging. This level of personalized service often sets smaller, family-run parks apart.
  • Affordable Long-Term Living: Despite any adjustments, the park remains "affordable." This is a critical feature for many RVers, especially those who choose the RV lifestyle for its cost-effectiveness or need a long-term base for work or family in the area. Value for money is a strong draw.
  • Complimentary Cable Television: The provision of "free cable" is a tangible benefit that adds to the comfort and entertainment options available to guests without additional cost. This is a welcomed amenity for unwinding after a day of work or exploration.
  • Efforts Towards Improvement: The acknowledgment that "The people that own it are trying to make it better just takes time" indicates a commitment to ongoing improvements. This forward-thinking approach suggests that the park is continually striving to enhance its facilities and services, which is a positive sign for prospective residents.
  • Friendly Resident Community: The presence of "Nice people living here" contributes to a pleasant and neighborly atmosphere. For those staying for extended periods, a friendly community can greatly enrich their experience and create a sense of home.
  • Quiet Environment: While not explicitly stated in all reviews, smaller, more rural parks like "The Little RV Park" often naturally offer a quieter environment compared to those directly adjacent to major interstates, providing a more peaceful setting for rest and relaxation.

A point to note, as mentioned by a reviewer, is the "very hard water which makes for very dry skin." While this is a minor issue, it's a factual detail that some guests might appreciate knowing in advance so they can prepare with appropriate skin care products or consider water softeners. Overall, the emphasis on supportive ownership and affordability makes The Little RV Park a noteworthy option in the Grape Creek area.

Great owners! They really work with you to make sure you are doing well and comfortable. Great prices. The only thing I could say would be the park has very hard water which makes for very dry skin. Besides that...I would highly recommend. Awesome experience!!!
