There are a lot more trails out here than I thought. I am not done yet with them all. I did 6.14 mi took me 2h 10m. Most of the trails are twist and turn through the trees. There were a couple of trails that All Trails had, but I think they were old trails that really didn't exist anymore. I will go back and finish the other hiking trails.
Oct 15, 2024 · Jerry DunlapThey've currently emptied part of the water so they can do some work in the area. Once it's done it looks like it's going to be fantastic. Sites were clean there is a massive spider in one of the porta potties and you got one heck of a sunset over the water.
May 04, 2023 · joe rossettiA hidden gem. If you don't know where you're going it's tricky to find - there are no camping signs or hints. There's no water hookup, but a pump is available if you need it. Electricity is on the campsite, and cell connectivity. The view is gorgeous, easy access to the lake.
Sep 26, 2016 · Jax RobertsonSince the lake was drained a few years back it has not recovered. It looks abandoned. But, the camping spots are open and usable.
Sep 02, 2024 · Wilma GPretty location, but dry dusty roads in the place are horrible. $30.00 per night for 50 amp electric only site away from the water is way too high. Stayed in Iowa State campground the previous two nights. Paved roads and Full hook ups for $19.00 per night. Had full bath houses too, not upscale out houses. Sorry Nebraska, you won't see us here again.
