Customer Reviews
It a great little campground good for biking right next to the sound and about 15 minutes to the beach it also has a water park near called the salty pirate, but if you don’t want to travel to the beach and stuff they have a pool and a little strip of stores near the entrance the most the campers are simple but sweet they also have a pond which is catch and release with some bass and brim, they have a nice bathhouse right at the pool so you can wash off right after so you can save hassle of riding back to your camper wet, there are often events at the community building by the pond but if you want more information you can ask the manager Brendan who is really nice, next to the pool there is also the office which you can buy candy and merchandise along with with drinks and ice for coolers and if you have kids ornaments are one for that matter there is a little playground biking the office.
This is a camper and RV place. Plenty room between neighbors. Folks here are friendly. Dog friendly campground with a dog park. There are some swings and play area for kids. It’s nothing fancy but well kept and nice for vacation with campers and RV s. I have enjoyed it so far
Very nice campground. Have been here a couple times before. It's clean, pretty and quiet. Had to ask for a fire ring though and they're gate has been broken since the 1st time we came.
Well, the location is great for our family's needs. The campsite that I reserved nearly six months earlier had no cable hookup, which the office provided, I hooked it up and it didn't work. Time Warner rep I called said would send out a technician, come on 8-4 during a vacation. The camp ground should've ensured the site was all in working order before a customer pulled in. Other than that, an ok and quiet campground. What's with the front gate being broken for a tremendously long time? The street signs were terrible to find in the dark, the one next to the office should not be hidden behind the bushes. The signs on the highway is exactly the same, covered by vegetation and can't see it even in daytime! Come on, you folks can do better. All and all made a good stay for my family, but I've lived here in Newport for 25 years and don't let the campground issues spoil our family time.
This is a very nice camp ground for RVing, very good spaces, people are very nice. Stores are close if you need something.
