Couldn’t ask for a better space to relax and stay in the Leelanau Peninsula. We’ve tented, cabin stayed and rv stayed here. The grounds are beautiful! Dense forest for camping privately, each with plenty of space and a fire pit. The cabins are spacious enough for four people to set up comfortably. An outdoor shower provides enough space to get you clean. The RV portion of the resort is beautifully maintained as well. Spacious sites provide plenty of privacy. The resort is very quiet. So wonderful for peace. The front office provides campfire wood and ice if you need it ….along with maps and great suggestions on where to visit in the area. The owners of the resort are kindhearted, down to earth, hardworking natives of area and willing to help you resolve any issues you may experience. We absolutely love our stays here….been coming here for the last five years.

This is a beautiful campground in a great location on the peninsula. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the view is very serene. We stayed for 3 nights and wished we had booked longer. While there is no playground or pool, my three boys entertained themselves riding their bikes around the campground, fishing, and having a catch in the open fields. There is a driving range there too- next time we know to bring our clubs. Bonus: There is a winery a short walk away. The owner was very accommodating and easy to work with when we needed a later check in. Very disappointing people have to give this place a bad review because of the internet. You're here to relax and enjoy with scenery!

This was a great place to spend the week. 5 mins from Sutton Bay and Leland. It was very scenic and relaxing. We would walk the park every evening to stretch our legs and then sit by the fire and enjoy the natural beauty. Sites were level and roomy. We really enjoyed our time here. It's marked on my map, when we return in a few years this will be my first pick.

Wild Cherry RV Resort is a fabulous place to camp. It is centrally located between Suttons Bay and Leeland - a quick drive to Fishtown, the wineries, and the dunes. The sites are spacious and well maintained. Our lakefront site had a large extended cement patio and was bordered by three stately evergreen trees. The power pedestal, water spigot, and sewer were conveniently located and well maintained. The grounds are lovely and the area surrounding the resort filled with flowers. This is the second time we’ve stayed at the resort. Brian, the owner, is an attentive host. The staff is friendly and very helpful. This is the second time we’ve stayed at the resort. We look forward to returning again next summer. Note- the Wi-Fi service is strongest near the office.
