Not sure what I was expecting, but literal willows IN the lake wasn't it lol. This was an absolutely gorgeous area, well maintained park and lots of families. I swear the water SPARKLES and its super clear. It's a small lake but very nice

Enjoyed this lake and campground very much. We stayed in the Monarch cabin and enjoyed a wonderful view of the lake and relaxed in front of our fire until about midnight. During the day, we enjoyed hiking and fishing. Clean campground and modern facilities were well kept. Playground for kids looks new. Great body of water for small boats and kayaks. We will be back with the grandkids for more adventures.

Great little cabin with a fantastic view of Willow Lake and surrounding nature preserves. We visited the new Educational Center which just opened in September and what a great experience with very friendly staff!
