Sep 14, 2025 · Paula GagnonJust hiked the 100 mile wilderness with a friend and had a great time. Phil was a huge help! He showed us additional camping options on a map, resupplied us half way through and shuttled us back to his place when we finished. His place in Monson is special. It's quiet and clean with showers, a kitchen and a lounge area. I highly recommend Phil if you are looking to hike in that area. Thanks Phil!!
Jul 12, 2018 · Stephen HawleyMy parents and I stayed here as a base camp to hike the first 60 or so miles of the 100 mile wilderness. We loved it here! Jordan was super friendly and helpful in setting up our adventure. He also came to our rescue once with a last minute shuttle. The camp itself is pristinely clean and the hot shower was SO amazing after a long day. Oh - and there are towels and sodas!!! We would definitely stay here again if we visit the area.
