Location and Accessibility

Buckeye Mobile Estates & RV Park is located at 502 N Buckeye St, Coffeyville, KS 67337, USA. This address places the park in Coffeyville, a significant city in Montgomery County, located in the southeastern part of Kansas. Coffeyville holds historical importance and serves as a regional hub for commerce and services, making it a common stop for travelers and a residential area for many Kansans.

The park's location on N Buckeye St suggests it is situated along a main thoroughfare within the city, which typically ensures good accessibility. This means that reaching the park from major state highways connecting to Coffeyville should be relatively straightforward for RVs and other vehicles. Its presence within city limits provides convenient access to local amenities, such as grocery stores, gas stations, dining options, and potentially local attractions like museums or parks. For those needing supplies or a quick meal, the proximity to Coffeyville's services is a definite advantage. Despite these internal navigation points, the overall geographical location in Coffeyville offers practicality for both transient RVers and potential long-term residents seeking community access.

Services Offered

Buckeye Mobile Estates & RV Park aims to provide a range of services for both short-term RV travelers and long-term mobile home residents. While the ideal execution of these services may vary based on user experiences, the intention is to offer fundamental amenities.

  • RV Sites for Overnight/Short-Term Stays:

The park offers designated spots for RVs, catering to travelers needing a place to stay for a night or a few days. This is a core service for those passing through Coffeyville.

  • Mobile Home Lots:

As indicated by "Mobile Estates" in its name, the park also provides lots for manufactured homes, suggesting options for long-term residents looking for permanent housing solutions within the community.

  • Cabin Rentals (Potential/Under Construction):

There is an indication of cabin rentals, specifically "waterfront cabin" options, which were, at one point, advertised on third-party booking sites. However, recent reviews suggest these may be "under construction" or not ready for occupancy, indicating an ongoing development or expansion of lodging options.

  • Bathhouse and Laundry Facilities:

Reviews mention a "small bath house/laundrymat," indicating the provision of essential communal facilities for personal hygiene and clothing care.

  • Wi-Fi Access:

Wi-Fi is advertised as a feature, though its availability and functionality might vary by location within the park or depending on the specific accommodation type (e.g., a "trailer" provided as an alternative may not have it).

  • Customer Service and Issue Resolution:

Despite initial booking confusion or on-site issues, the owners have demonstrated a willingness to engage with customers to "discuss issues, and promised to address them," which suggests a commitment to resolving problems and improving guest experience.

Features / Highlights

Buckeye Mobile Estates & RV Park presents several features and highlights, though some are aspirational or subject to ongoing improvement, as reflected in customer feedback.

  • Owner Responsiveness to Issues:

A significant highlight is the owner's initiative to "call to discuss issues, and promised to address them." This responsiveness, even in the face of negative feedback, indicates a commitment to customer satisfaction and a desire to improve the park's condition, which is a positive sign for future visitors and residents.

  • Flexible Accommodation Options:

The park attempts to offer a range of accommodation types beyond just RV sites, including cabins (though under construction) and emergency trailer provisions. This flexibility, especially the quick provision of alternative lodging in a pinch, showcases a helpful approach from management.

  • On-Site Essential Amenities:

The presence of a "small bath house/laundrymat" provides fundamental conveniences for travelers and residents, allowing for personal care and clothing management without leaving the park.

  • Potential for Waterfront Cabins:

The concept of "waterfront cabin" offerings, even if currently under construction, suggests a vision for scenic and desirable lodging, which could become a major draw once completed and fully operational.

  • Versatile Use (Short-term and Long-term):

The park's design to accommodate both transient RVers and permanent mobile home residents (as a "Mobile Estates & RV Park") makes it a versatile option, catering to different needs within the Coffeyville community.

  • Friendly Owners (Despite Challenges):

Despite difficulties, customers generally describe the owners as "very nice" and "very helpful." This positive human element can significantly impact the overall experience, especially when issues arise.

  • Level RV Sites (Site-Specific):

While some sites may present leveling challenges (as noted for a specific pull-through), at least one reviewer found their assigned spot (#2) to be "level from left to right," indicating that some sites are indeed well-suited for RV setup.

My wife and I were traveling, and needed a place to stay over night. We found this cute little cabin on camp spot. Featured wifi, and a waterfront cabin. Pictures were beautiful. Long story short, we booked it! $85 for the night. When we arrived all of the cabins were under construction and the office was closed. We called and when they answered they had no idea we had anything booked, he informed us those cabins were not ready. They were very helpful and put us in a trailer. It didn't have wifi, but it was liveable. It was very nice of the owners to put us up in something quickly. I blame this all on camp spot. I have since deleted the app. I will never use this app again.

We stayed one night with our class C. No one at the office. Difficult to find the site, as no signage on the roads. Very rough roads. Garbage all over the site we were assigned. Tree at one end of our site had very large branches that had partially fallen from the tree and were clearly dead, but were not taken off the tree. Grounds were not kept attractive at all. Park owner called to discuss issues, and promised to address them. That was appreciated.

Well. This place is in need of a makeover. Cut the grass. Showers and laundry were not accessible. Manager was somewhere else. Finally came by our spot after 4 hours. Mostly long term contract workers living there. Hospital and the Refinery. Supposedly, the new owner lives in Oregon. She better get on the ball before the grass takes over and realizes the staff is not taking care of business.

1st thing, there is tall grass in a lot of the park. The electric meter was messed up, caught my cord and surge protector on fire. Replaced cord and I'll be danged if it didn't ran over with the mower. Hardly never anybody in the office. Way to pricey. 1 week was 222.00 the next week was 293.00. Makes no since to me. We will definitely not be back!!!!
