May 25, 2025 · GRAMSWe stayed in site #75 with full hook-ups. Easily fit our 38 ft 5th wheel with minimal difficulty backing in. Sites are large enough that you're not totally stacked on your neighbors. Quiet campground! Many sites had a dog (or several) and there wasn't any barking at night. There is lots of trails down to the local beach for playing in the water and hunting for agates. There is a new bike/ walking path along the highway that is easily accessible from the campground. The shower/ bath houses were clean. It's a quick zip into town for any forgotten items or groceries. Head on down to Agate Beach and watch the ore ships come in!! This is a nice, clean campground that is a short distance to Betty's Pies, Gooseberry Falls, Split Rick lighthouse, and Black Sand Beach. It's about a 40ish min drive to Duluth.
May 25, 2025 · Alissa BensoThis is our 2nd stay at Burlington Bay Campground and it was great. We had site 82 and it is right on the water. The site is large and we had plenty of room to set up games, gather lots of chairs around the fire and set up our outdoor kitchen. The shower house on the 2nd loop was nice and clean. The store sells firewood and apparel. This campground is walking distance to shops, gas stations and restaurants. Highly recommend!
Dec 26, 2024 · Kristin MikesLovely views from every site in the David Dill Addition of this campground. Sunny, open sites with full hook-ups. Back-in. Easy access off highway. Wide enough roads for ease in parking. Convenient to nearby state parks and pie shops! This was our last stop before crossing the border to Canada. Lawns were a little behind in mowing, but otherwise, nicely kept up. Verizon service was awesome.
Jun 11, 2024 · Susan SchwadererA little pricey at $63, but the staff answering the phones when we made our reservation we're very patient and friendly not to mention accommodating. Nice little North Shore themed gift shop in the office as well. She found us a spot with a nice Overlook, so in spite of the expense it's hard to beat a view like this! Can't say enough about how clean the restrooms and shower facilities were. Fairly quiet, even being as close to Highway 61 as it is . There is a new section to the park where the roads are newly paved which is nice because the main entrance is quite bumpy, but that's one of the only negatives I could find. Very close to town and just a couple minute drive from the Two Harbors lighthouse.
