Campsite 51 is always nice. People have helped pick up all the glass that was here. Now rude people aren't digging a hole and burying their waste. It's disgusting. Every tree has toilet paper behind it. Dig a hole people!

Feb 19, 2022 · Jason AdamsDon’t listen to Brandon J. Moving here from Texas and it only took about 4 hours to find out where to obtain the permit. (Exit 64 is headquarters) $10 isn’t really a lot and it’s to help keep the park in good shape. They have to clean up the “freeloaders” trash who tries to camp for free.
Jul 08, 2022 · Jeff PieperAlright so Three important things about this “campground” -it’s permit camping only, your guess is as good as mine on how and where that permit is obtained.. -there’s a 10$ fee that needs to be paid b4 arriving. Again no clue how, where or even why.. -there was a forest ranger driving around. Not sure how strictly those permit/fee rules are applied. So yeah, glad I drove all the way down there just to find out it’s another BS “primitive campsite” loaded with fees and permit restrictions. Don’t waste your time if your looking to camp for the night for free..
