Customer Reviews
What a great little campground! The staff were super friendly and helpful, the pool and hot tub were clean (and heated!), and the sites were in great shape! A little out of the way for us, but we really enjoyed our stay, and so did the kids.
We have been going here since they opened, always having a site on the woods side. This time we had to be in the inside circle of the play gym. Huge mistake. Upon arrival I wanted to leave as soon as I backed in. Woman at front desk was notified immediately and camp hosts as well. They all knew each other so it got worse and the behavior continued all weekend long. Labor Day weekend was obviously just for locals in that area only! NOT friendly, entitled, and very rude. No camp etiquette what so ever! Children can obviously drive golf carts now? That was highly enforced last 2 years and nothing enforced this weekend. Screaming kids until 10pm, nobody watching them, men peeing behind their campers for everyone to see, cutting through sites. Little kids on 4 wheelers all over, balls hitting campers….Horrible! We will not be back. The worst camping trip we have ever had!
We have been going to Cedar Valley campground for years, this was our last time. Our fire pit was full of trash and there was dog poop on our site upon arrival. Rude campers all around our site. Adults and kids walking through our site. Constant balls being kicked onto our site and under our camper. There was a dog that wasn't being watched on the site next to ours, on a cable that reached our camper door, and it growled and lunged at my senior lab. The office was notified but did nothing to prevent further incidents. We've never had these issues prior and its quite disappointing. It seemed that the campground was full of locals that are friends with the camp host, so nothing was done, and the campers continued to make rude comments and not control their children whatsoever. Don't go to this campground if you plan on having an enjoyable camping experience.
Cool little campground with a decent, small amusing park. They even have a roller coaster! mini golf and a pool, with a very big hot tub next to it. All of that stuff closes after Labor day, fyi. The cabins are small but nice and clean. They do not have any type bathroom or running water, not do they have a stove. Mini frodge, microwave and coffee maker are the extent of the amenities. Prices reflect that. Plsued the golf course, which is really nice for the cost. Going back next year.
This place is a hidden gem! The full hookup sites are on cement pads, the moderate sites are gravel and the grass is kept in great condition. The bathrooms are clean and there are porta potties in convenient places. The playground is small but nice. We took our own golf cart to buzz around in, but they also have some to rent. The pool and hot tub were clean and the water temp was perfect! The amusement park is very nostalgic, brought back memories of my childhood. The kids and adults had a blast. Use caution going on the rocket ride... it's a doozy! This is our new fav place for camping. ❤️
