Coastal Country Riverside Resort About

Are you seeking a memorable escape into the natural beauty of the Missouri Ozarks? Coastal Country Riverside Resort in Lebanon, MO, presents itself as a compelling option for those looking to immerse themselves in stunning scenery and enjoy a peaceful retreat. While offering a range of accommodations, including RV sites and cabins, the resort aims to provide a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Its prime location by the river and proximity to renowned natural attractions make it an attractive destination for anglers, nature lovers, and families alike. The resort's ambition is to create an experience where guests "feel like family," fostering a sense of warmth and belonging amidst the serene landscape.

Coastal Country Riverside Resort presents a mixed picture based on guest experiences, highlighting both significant strengths and areas where improvements are essential. On the positive side, many visitors are captivated by the resort's "Very beautiful place!" with "amazing" scenery, particularly noting the beauty of the river and the chance to see wildlife like eagles up close. The comfortable beds are a recurring positive, contributing to a restful stay. Crucially, the staff receive high praise, with one reviewer unable to "begin to tell you how nice everyone on staff was" and emphasizing a feeling of being "like family." This level of personal connection and hospitality is a major draw, promising a warm and engaging experience. The availability of "amazing" Wi-Fi and phone service is also a modern convenience appreciated by guests. The mention of staff cooking meals for guests further underscores the resort's commitment to hospitality, adding to the feeling of being cared for.

However, it is equally important for prospective guests to be aware of significant concerns raised in other reviews, particularly regarding cabin cleanliness. One detailed account describes paying over $430 for a cabin with serious cleanliness issues, including "blood all over bedroom door, dried drops of it in bedroom and bathroom," unclean sheets, "white power all in the bathtub," animal hair on towels, and widespread "dried bugs and dust." This particular guest also noted "old coffee drippings on the cabinets" and a "messy" laundry room. Furthermore, the handling of the complaint, including "accusatory remarks made on a public forum to a customer," points to significant customer service issues post-stay. While a refund was eventually received via Vrbo, the experience highlights a critical inconsistency in service delivery. Therefore, while the resort offers beautiful surroundings and a potentially friendly staff experience, prospective visitors, especially those considering cabin rentals, should exercise caution and potentially verify cleanliness standards upon arrival. This dual perspective is crucial for making an informed decision about staying at Coastal Country Riverside Resort.

Coastal Country Riverside Resort is conveniently located at 84 Cat Hollow Trail Unit B, Lebanon, MO 65536, USA. Paid over 430 dollars for a dirty cabin. There was blood all over bedroom door, dried drops of it in bedroom and bathroom. I was told it was nail polish (yep, nail polish during hunting season). My brother noticed sheets were not clean. There was white power all in the bathtub. Towels did not smell clean and had animal hair on them. Dried bugs and dust were all over the place. Also old coffee drippings on the cabinets. Update 11/25/2024 - 1.) I received a refund from Vrbo this morning 2.) I requested a refund of the $100 cleaning fee from Vrbo because the rental was not clean 3.) I stayed in the area to teach my brother how to flyfish in Bennet Springs State Park. We are local to this area and have property on the Lake of the Ozarks we also rent using Vrbo. I would never let a tenant stay at our property in this condition 4.) Photos have metadata. My credit card company, Better Business Bureau and Stay Neighborly are all aware of the time these photos were taken 5.) We did not use the dryers on site because the laundry room was a mess - However, I do appreciate the other staff on site showing me where it was 6.) We met the staff who lives on site for about 15 minutes while my brother played with their children. Never took them up on the offer to see the stretch of the river on the property. We got out very early after packing and getting ready to fish again Sunday 7.) Coastal Country Riverside should be embarrassed by their lack of customer service and accusatory remarks made on a public forum to a customer. 8.) I will let the public judge for themselves on whether or not they'd like to stay here

I always loved this property in its previous rundown state. It was by far the roomiest resort for campers without being crammed like cattle like every other similar river resort nearby. I was nervous what new owners would do overhauling it. I finally got a group to go with me and it was amazing. The previously scummy yet lovable cabins were now amazing and all cleaned up inside and out. I didnt initially want luxury or anything special but I definitely dont want to go back to the properties previous state after staying in this intimate setting. The way they have setup the pavilion and common areas is awesome too. They played a movie on a projector in the pavilion at night and the staff and owner were so welcoming. My friends all thanked me for convincing them to come along. This is definitely Lebanon’s best kept secret. Cant wait to go back!

Last summer (2023) my family rented a 8 person cabin at Coastal Country Resort (no-it’s no where near the ocean) for a family get together. For the 8 of us for 2 days/2 nights we had; 2 roll paper towels, 1 mini coffee maker, 4 coffe cups, 4 drinking cups, 1 hand towel and 1 dish rag, No dish drainer, No towel racks in bathroom, No toilet paper holder, 4 rolls of 1 ply smallest rolls possible toilet paper, no plunger, no bathroom trash bags, no extra kitchen trash bags, dining room table with 4 chairs. when you call the phone number for the resort you do not get the on location office-you get a off site phone service which you have to leave a message most of the time. so when the stool clogged and the coffee maker broke and overflowed (no mop) the only option was to walk to the office to get needed supplies. There were No handles on doors/drawers in kitchen-hard which made them difficult to open. no Night light in bathroom or anywhere. The upstairs (which had 2 full size beds) was only accessible via a wooden ladder built on the wall (not stairs-ladder) without nightlights it was very dangerous to climb down to use the restroom in the middle of the night. the outside was not maintained-tall grass everywhere, the gravel bar “beach” was just a rocky spot along the river. thankful there’s a restaurant at the beginning of the road (about 2 miles away) that we could go to. the prices were just too high for the lack of accommodations. maybe if they had the pool done and the cabins were better stocked it would have been a better experience.

I have brought my fiancé here numerous times for a getaway, and the staff has been nothing short of amazing! We are so appreciative of the cleanliness of the bathroom/shower area, as we prefer primitive camping. The owner has consistently went above and beyond for us! She recommended great spot for our tent, and even called us during one of our stays to warn us that there was a potential for severe storms and offered us shelter. We absolutely will continue to visit this beautiful area! The renovations and focus on the environment are a breath of fresh air! My fiancé and I cannot wait to see how the resort continues to grow!
