Great owner, very sweet & nice. Good distance from the city, great value overall. Area is very quiet and relaxing. Beautiful scenery." This consistent feedback paints a clear picture of a tranquil haven where quiet moments, friendly faces, and beautiful surroundings come together. Whether you're working on the road, exploring the nearby historical sites, or simply seeking a peaceful spot to unwind, Covenant Cove RV Resort invites you to experience true Missouri hospitality. Let's delve deeper into what makes this "rustic" yet welcoming park a fantastic choice for your next RV adventure.

Location and Accessibility

Covenant Cove RV Resort is situated at 21840 Eastside Dr, Rushville, MO 64484, USA. This location places it in a tranquil, rural setting in northwestern Missouri, providing a wonderful escape from the constant noise of major highways, as noted by appreciative campers who enjoy the "wonderful scenery away from the highways."

For us Missourians, reaching Covenant Cove RV Resort is quite accessible. From the Kansas City metropolitan area, the drive is typically around 45 minutes to an hour north. This makes it a convenient weekend getaway or a practical base for extended stays without being too far from urban conveniences. The park is located 10 miles from Weston, MO, a popular historic river town known for its unique shops, wineries, and distilleries, offering a quaint destination for day trips. It's also just 11 miles from Atchison, KS, a historic city across the Missouri River, which provides additional services, grocery stores, and attractions like the Amelia Earhart Birthplace Museum.

Access to the RV Resort is generally straightforward. From Atchison, KS, you would take US Hwy 59 east to State Hwy 273/45, then go south approximately 5 miles before turning right onto Eastside Drive, and continue for about 1 mile to reach the resort. While it’s nestled away for peace and quiet, the approach roads are manageable for RVs up to 60 feet in length. The location is ideal for those who appreciate a rustic, quiet environment but still want relatively easy access to nearby towns for supplies, dining, or local exploration. The "good distance from the city" ensures a relaxing atmosphere while still allowing for convenient excursions.

  • Picnic Tables & Fire Rings: Each site is equipped with a picnic table and a fire pit/fire ring, perfect for outdoor dining and enjoying a campfire under the Missouri stars.
  • Boat Ramp: There is a boat ramp available, suggesting access to a nearby body of water for boating and fishing activities.
  • Playground: A playground is on-site, offering recreational opportunities for children, making it a "pleasant addition" for families.
  • ATV / OHV Access: The park provides access for ATV/OHV use, appealing to enthusiasts of off-highway vehicle recreation.
  • Basketball: A basketball area is available, offering a simple recreational outlet for guests.
  • Pets Welcome: The park is pet-friendly, allowing guests to bring their beloved furry companions (some restrictions may apply, so it's always good to confirm).
  • Year-Round Operation: Covenant Cove RV Resort is open all year, providing a reliable camping option regardless of the season.

These services collectively contribute to a comfortable and self-sufficient camping experience, aligning with the "homey" and "great value" atmosphere that campers appreciate.

  • Quiet & Relaxing Environment: The park is praised for being "very quiet and relaxing," nestled "away from the highways" with "beautiful scenery." This serene setting is ideal for unwinding, enjoying nature, and escaping urban noise.
  • Full Hookup & Big-Rig Friendly Sites: All 36 RV sites offer full hookups (water, sewer, 20/30/50 amp electric) and can accommodate RVs up to 60 feet. This ensures convenience and accessibility for even the largest motorhomes and trailers.

Promotions or Special Offers

Covenant Cove RV Resort, as a privately owned park, utilizes various strategies to offer value and attract campers, particularly through membership discounts and competitive pricing for extended stays. While specific, flashy "promotions" may not be advertised constantly, their value proposition is clear.

The most significant and consistent "special offer" available at Covenant Cove RV Resort is:

  • Passport America Discount: The park is a proud participant in the Passport America program, offering a 50% discount on their daily rates.
    • Conditions for Passport America: This discount is typically valid for one night, specifically Sunday through Thursday nights only. It is generally not valid during holidays, weekends, or special events. Campers must mention Passport America when making a reservation to receive the discount.

In addition to the Passport America discount, the park's pricing structure inherently offers value for longer stays, as noted by reviewers who mention "great prices" and "great value overall":

  • Discounts for Longer Stays: For stays longer than one night (especially beyond the Passport America single-night validity), guests are encouraged to "see management for discounts on longer stays." This implies that weekly or monthly rates would be significantly more economical than the daily rate, which is a common practice for RV parks catering to long-term visitors, including those working in the area.

Current daily rates are typically in the range of $30.00 - $32.00 (with cash often being the lower price, e.g., $30 cash, $32 credit card). This competitive baseline rate, combined with the potential for 50% off via Passport America or reduced rates for extended periods, makes Covenant Cove RV Resort a highly affordable option for many RVers.

It is always recommended for us Missourians planning a visit to contact the resort directly to inquire about the most current rates, any specific package deals, and to confirm the applicability of any discounts for your intended length of stay. Their willingness to discuss discounts for longer stays directly with management suggests a personalized approach to pricing.

I loved this place , easy out going, walking on , Beautiful orange Sunrise 🌅 show up behind the mountain in early mornings that makes your day happy, And the parking or campground owner is easy to talk with, she's really nice understandable person. Only the water over there was hav a color, I mean maybe pipe oxidation if I'm not mistaken but It can fix it, RV or motor home owner just only need a filter, And other one, this parking campground it has a laundry & dryer machine for free. It's not really clean but I hope campers people out there who will going to used the machine, Guys we need to clean up a little bit even if it was not ours or we don't care cuz we are not the owner, but we used too and know this CLEANLINESS is BASE of OUR PERSONALITY...

I. Live there so it's pretty good. There's a lot of space to run around. It's cool in all the delegates. Burn down auto suddenly so I like it because they can run around. And there's a pool next door where I live and it's really cool and I can't believe it. And today we're gonna go into it. And yes, Marian Wilson knows it. That's the people that own the pool. And there are friends and build grand wrote. Weymouth is my miseraplay, Lady Gaga Cheryl, whatever.
