Customer Reviews
This place is a hidden gem!! Called and talked to them on the way in to town and it was no problem!! AT&T service was a bit low but worked fine for us. The campground is nice and quite and has a beautiful view of Currahee Mountain!! You have the essentials like a bathhouse with one toilet, shower, and heater in it. Also they have a laundry room and dump station to wash out your tanks. They have level lots with full hook ups and some even have patios overlooking the river! We stayed at site 0 and loved it! As for equipment we have a 2021 Cherokee Forest River Wolf Pup 14cc that is about 19 feet long and we had plenty of room!! We definitely loved this campground and will be back next time we are in town!!
We came to this CG for a quick overnight stop and were pleasantly surprised. Our cement pad/gravel pull through site was level, water pressure was good and despite a night of rainstorms, was high and dry. Check in was as easy as a phone call and since instructions were texted to us, on our evening arrival we drove directly to our site. The wifi was suitable for streaming; Verizon was fair (2 bars) and T-Mobile was better. There aren’t a lot of bells and whistles here, but if you’re looking for a clean, well maintained park, this CG fits the bill.
I'm scared to leave a review because I want to preserve this hidden gem lol! What an amazing stay! I was scared and hesitant because of the lack of information I could find online about this campground, we were on a big 9 day road trip with this being a 1 night stop. When we arrived, we realized we could have stayed here for a week and been super happy. Amazing views, great little creek that runs through the property, full hookups, and everything was well taken care of.
What a warm and hospitable place to rest for a night or a week or longer! It is peaceful and beautiful with a view of Currahee Mountain. The RV sites are spacious and some do have a concrete pad. The owners are precious! You will be well taken care of here. If you want to explore and especially if you have a Jeep or a similar vehicle, ask Dewayne how to get to the top of their Currahee Mountain.
Great camp close to town with well spaced spots! Dwayne was very friendly and chose a spot for us overlooking the creek behind the site. Nice private patio built over the creek. We would stay again and highly recommend!
