It offers a premium, yet accessible, riverfront camping experience that capitalizes on one of the region's greatest natural resources—the White River. For locals, it represents a high-quality, close-to-home escape where the drive is minimal but the change of scenery is dramatic. The park's location in Cotter, known globally for its trout fishing, means that a world-class outdoor adventure is just a short drive away from most North Central Arkansas communities. The commitment to cleanliness, excellent customer service, and modern amenities—from full hookups and clean laundry facilities to free WiFi and the option of a luxury cabin—means that your stay will be comfortable and hassle-free. The attention to detail, noted by guests who appreciated the staff calling ahead about leveling pads, ensures a smooth experience from arrival to departure. While some reviewers have noted a desire for more shade in summer or suggested clearing some riverbank undergrowth for better views, these minor points are overshadowed by the overall consensus of a beautiful, clean, quiet, and well-managed park. The gravel roads and spots are well-maintained, and the layout accommodates various RV sizes, though larger units should be prepared for potential long sewer hose runs. For Arkansas locals, Denton Ferry RV Park & Cabin Rental is not just a place to stay; it is a reliable, high-quality, year-round destination to connect with the state's natural heritage and enjoy a tranquil riverside lifestyle.

Beautiful spot along the river. Nice clean park, gravel roads and spots. It was nice of them to call ahead and ask if we needed pads to put under our leveling jacks. The spots are laid out for trailers so the sewer line is at the very back of the site. In a class A towing a trailer it meant using 40 feet of sewer hose. It was easy to get there and easy to find our spot. Short trip to Mountain Home. We were there on business and the staff allowed us a late check out when our meeting ran long. Thank you Denton Ferry Staff!
Sep 23, 2025 · Joseph KeithThe RV park is clean and quiet. Not much shade to keep u cool in the summer. The reason for only 4 stars was that the weeds under the trees along the river need to be cleaned up so the river can be accessed and seen from the sites along the river. There may be a reason why they haven't mowed them down, but it would be nice if the undergrowth was cleaned up. That's the only complaint I have about the park. Everything else was great! Update: most of the time, people camping like to sleep in past 7am. At 7am this morning, we were woke up with the sound of chainsaws. There was a crew cutting down a tree and then chipped it up in a grinder.
Jul 07, 2025 · Karyn JohnsonBeautiful campsites right on the White River. We loved the first two days there—was so sad that it rained for the next three days and there was jot an option for early departure to get a little money back. But we did enjoy the small part of the trip with no rain—and they don’t control the weather! One cool thing ( that we missed) was that they were cooking ribs and we were going to bring a side dish—everyone at the camp was invited. But that was on Memorial Day Monday, and we just decided to leave because of too many kids in a small space with the rain and mud. There is a rope swing into a VERY cold natural spring area just a few miles away. The kids loved it! Beautiful views and nice, friendly people. The showers were clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again if we could get a nicer weekend!
May 28, 2025 · Sheri BeersmanRV park 4 day stay. Clean and well kept campground. Easy to get to from main highway and located on the banks of the White River. Easy drive in to Mountain Home Arkansas where we spent some of the days while in the area.
Sep 05, 2025 · Larry CrainThe facilities were clean, and the location was good. (We did not use the cabins.). Communication was good through texts, but we never met any management at the facility. My only issue was no shade trees. After 5:30 pm, we had a bit of shade from tall trees along the river, but until that time, no shade. Overall, we had a good view of the river.
