We retired here full-time 5 years ago. The park is consistently clean & well maintained. The streets are well lit. People are friendly, helpful & courteous. Watching the dogs with their owners is a treat! We are sad to have to move back to our home in OH due to family issues. Thank you, Ed! We will miss everyone!

(Destin East Mobile Home Park) now 55 and older community. Walking distance to beach and outlet mall. Next door to one of the best golf courses on the Emerald coast North West Florida Sandestin golf and beach resort. Mobile homes you own. Just pay lot rent $380 month. You are responsible for your own utilities. Garbage included with lot rent. Must keep dogs on leash. No out door cats. No sub leasing or renting. Keep car radios to minimum. Thanks! We have lived here for 3 years and it has been wonderful. It’s close to the beach, shopping, golf, restaurants. It’s very quiet and the management is very helpful.

We have lived here for more than 18 months and we LOVE it! It's a quiet, safe, beautiful, affordable little 55+ community where most of the residents are pleasant, helpful, and considerate. Directly across the street from the Gulf and next door to shopping and restaurants, it's location can't be beat. The negative 1-star review is inaccurate.
