Eagle's Roost RV Resort About
For many Georgians, hitting the open road in an RV is more than just a trip; it's a way of life, a pursuit of freedom and adventure. If you’re exploring the beautiful landscapes of South Georgia or just passing through, finding the right RV park can make all the difference to your journey. Look no further than Eagle's Roost RV Resort in Lake Park, GA – a highly-regarded destination that promises comfort, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere for all types of RV travelers.
RV parks in Georgia cater to a wide range of needs, from overnight stops to extended stays. What sets a truly excellent RV resort apart is its commitment to guest experience, impeccable grounds, and a full suite of amenities designed to make your time on the road as enjoyable as possible. Eagle's Roost RV Resort embodies these qualities, striving to provide a top-tier experience for every visitor.
As Georgians, we appreciate places that offer both genuine Southern hospitality and practical amenities. The RV lifestyle often means seeking out locations that feel like a home away from home, with the added benefit of being surrounded by fellow adventurers. Eagle's Roost has cultivated a reputation for its friendly environment, where both staff and fellow campers contribute to a positive and memorable stay. The care and attention given to the grounds and facilities reflect a dedication to ensuring guests have everything they need for a comfortable visit.
One of the key aspects that makes an RV park suitable for local Georgians and travelers alike is its ability to provide a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment. This includes not just the individual sites but also communal areas like restrooms, showers, and recreational facilities. Eagle's Roost excels in this regard, with numerous testimonials highlighting the cleanliness and upkeep of their amenities, which is a crucial factor for any RVer.
Furthermore, the convenience of full hookups (water, sewer, and electricity) is often a non-negotiable for many RVers. Eagle's Roost delivers on this, providing essential services that ensure a hassle-free stay. This attention to detail allows campers to relax and enjoy their surroundings rather than worrying about utility management.
The RV community in Georgia is vibrant and diverse, and parks like Eagle's Roost serve as important hubs for these travelers. They offer a place to rest, refresh, and connect with others who share a passion for the open road. Whether you're a seasoned RVer or new to the lifestyle, finding a welcoming and well-equipped park is essential, and Eagle's Roost aims to fill that role perfectly for those traveling through or staying in South Georgia.
While the resort aims to be welcoming to all, it's important for potential guests to be aware of certain policies. Like many establishments, Eagle's Roost RV Resort has specific guidelines regarding pets. These policies, which reportedly include certain breed restrictions, are in place to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests. It's always recommended to confirm specific pet policies directly with the park management, especially if you are traveling with a dog that might be on a restricted breed list. This proactive step helps ensure a smooth and enjoyable check-in process and overall stay. Despite these necessary regulations, the overwhelming feedback points to a hospitable and well-run facility that prioritizes the experience of its human guests.

Customer Reviews
What kind of campground has a BAD dog list‼️Its bad enough they have a list BUT they exclude German Shepherds the dogs that MOST police, military, search & rescue teams use. German Shepherds are the most loving, caring, loyal animal on earth. WHY WHY WHY dont you exclude some of those little PAIN IN THE ASS ANKLE BITTERS that act like they want to eat you when you walk by. I am by no means wishing harm to the owners of this campground but maybe someday someone you LOVE will be saved or found by one of these GREAT DOGS you exclude. I don’t believe for a second your insurance company excludes them and if they do CHANGE COMPANIES‼️
Eagles Roost RV Resort – Amazing Hospitality & Beautiful Grounds (10/10) Eagles Roost is one of those campgrounds that truly stands out—not just for its beauty but for the kindness of its owners. After the devastation of Hurricane Helene, they generously let us stay for free, showing just how much they care about their guests. That kind of hospitality is rare and so appreciated! The campground itself is in a fantastic location, close to restaurants, stores, and the scenic lakes of Lake Park, GA. The sites are spotless, with concrete pull-through pads that make setup a breeze. The public bathrooms and showers are some of the cleanest we’ve seen, which is always a huge plus. Full hookup amenities make for a comfortable stay, and there’s even a pool—a great way to cool off and relax! One of the unique perks is the neighboring flea market—busy but full of charm, with fresh fruits, vegetables, and unique finds. The entire atmosphere is welcoming, and everyone we met, from staff to fellow campers, was incredibly friendly. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area! If you want to see more of our travels, check us out on TikTok/Instagram (@alaynamscwain) where we share our journey and amazing campgrounds like this one. 10/10—definitely a must-visit!
We only setup at the Flea Market attached to the RV Park. Sunday was our busiest day. Lots of Vendors setup and lots of Bargains to be found . I bought a few Tomato plants and zucchini plants at reasonable prices from the Produce booth up front.
We've stay here often over the years, when traveling along Interstate 75. We were surprised at the condition of the RV park. Many, many down trees between the park and the lake, we assume due to the hurricanes. The dog walk area was overgrown and the dog clean up station is no longer there. It looked as if the grounds aren't maintained, as they used to be.
This rv resort can be so much more with some investment. My concrete super site was somewhat unlevel from front to back. The area around the cracked concrete pad was super sandy and unkept. Dead oak tree limbs/branches over hanging the site were a concern. Bathhouses were clean. Conveniently located off Interstate 75, however, loud Interstate traffic noise non stop. Fresh water hookup had a light brown appearance.
