We rent for a family reunion. The location is great on the lake, main building in decent shape but the cabins are not maintained the toilet was loose in our cabinet with black mold growing, the vanity was rotten, and a window fell out in bathroom sending glass all over. The deck on lake literally had holes and nails sticking out. Picture of 1 deck hole forgot to get other photos

Very nice grounds. There were many cabins for everyone to stay in. Nice and private. The lake was perfect to cool off. We were able to tie up a boat to the dock. Had a wonderful time. Cant wait to come back next year. I think we found our new yearly meeting spot!

My husband’s family rents this place every year for a family reunion. We bring our RV as the cabins and facilities have not been maintained for years. If people continue to rent it in this condition, why should they do anything about it? Many of the cabins have bathroom water leaks and are moldy; the smell of mold is strong. I really believe the owners must rely on campers to do any cleaning because things are pretty dirty. There is a “game room” attached to one of the cabins that has an electric stove that looks like it may have caught fire at one point and has never been replaced. As one other review has stated, one of the stoves in the kitchen is an electrocution waiting to happen. The kitchen hasn’t been maintained in years either. I frankly don’t know how this place has been able to operate under these conditions. The Health Department alone could have a heyday there, not to mention the fire marshall.
