This isn't your typical rustic campground; it’s a modern, secure, and highly convenient RV park designed for those who appreciate both comfort and unparalleled access to local attractions.
Recent renovations have transformed this park, with one satisfied guest noting, "The RV park has undergone renovations since our last visit with paved roads, sites, and bath houses." This commitment to improvement means you can expect a high standard of quality throughout the property. The park boasts a "lovely setting right on the river," providing stunning views and a remarkably "quiet, and clean" environment. Imagine waking up to the serene sight of the Arkansas River, with the city skyline as your backdrop – a truly unique experience for any RVer.
One of the most compelling aspects of Downtown Riverside RV Park is its incredible location. It’s "just across the river from all the downtown fun" of Little Rock, making it an ideal base for exploring the capital city. A "foot/bike path just outside the gates... will allow you to cross the river" directly into the heart of downtown, offering easy access to attractions like the Clinton Presidential Center and the bustling River Market District. This pedestrian access means you can leave your RV parked and explore on foot or by bike, immersing yourself in the local scene without the hassle of driving and parking.
Despite being in a busy urban area, the park maintains a peaceful ambiance. Visitors consistently praise its quiet nature, with one review stating, "The park was quiet. In fact, I slept fairly well, and that rarely happens for me." This is a significant advantage for those seeking rest after a day of exploring or simply wanting a peaceful retreat. While shade might be limited, particularly when the sun is out, the benefits of modern, clean facilities, paved sites, and an unbeatable location far outweigh this minor point. Downtown Riverside RV Park offers a compelling blend of urban convenience and riverside serenity, making it a highly recommended choice for any Arkansan seeking a distinctive RV adventure.
Downtown Riverside RV Park is exceptionally located at 250 S Locust St, North Little Rock, AR 72114, USA. This address places it directly on the banks of the Arkansas River, offering unparalleled views and immediate access to the vibrant heart of the Little Rock metropolitan area. For Arkansans, this means a central and highly accessible hub for exploring the state's capital city.
The park's proximity to major interstate highways, particularly I-30 (accessible via Exit 141B: US-70, Broadway Av), ensures very easy entry and exit for RVs of all sizes, making it an excellent stop for travelers passing through or for locals heading to or from other parts of the state. Despite its downtown location, the park is designed to mitigate noise, being "tucked back in so you don't hear any of the highway noise," ensuring a surprisingly quiet environment.
One of the most significant advantages of this location is its direct connectivity to downtown Little Rock. A dedicated "foot/bike path just outside the gates" leads directly to a pedestrian bridge (the former Rock Island Railroad Bridge, now the Clinton Presidential Park Bridge) that spans the Arkansas River. This allows guests to easily walk or bike to major attractions such as the William J. Clinton Presidential Center and Park, the bustling River Market District with its array of restaurants, shops, museums, and entertainment venues. This unique pedestrian access means you can enjoy the city's highlights without needing to drive your RV or tow vehicle.
Additionally, the park is close to other North Little Rock attractions, including Dickey-Stephens Park (home of the Arkansas Travelers baseball team), Simmons Bank Arena, and the Argenta Arts & Entertainment District. While some surrounding commercial areas or the immediate approach to the park might appear less pristine, the park itself is a secure, gated facility that is consistently praised for being "clean and well kept," offering a stark and welcoming contrast. Its prime riverside setting truly provides an urban oasis for RVers in Arkansas.
Downtown Riverside RV Park focuses on providing consistent value and a high-quality urban RV experience, rather than frequently advertised promotions. While specific discount percentages or seasonal sales are not prominently listed, the park offers competitive rates for its prime location and comprehensive amenities. Reviews consistently highlight the "reasonable pricing" and the "great value" offered, considering its unique downtown riverside setting and the extensive facilities available.
As a city-owned park, the pricing structure is often designed to be stable and inclusive of the many benefits it provides. While specific information on traditional promotions like Good Sam or military discounts isn't detailed in the provided information, many RV parks do offer such affiliations. If you are visiting downtown Little Rock in an RV, this is a great place to spend the night. It's just across the river from all the downtown fun. And there is a foot/bike path just outside the gates that will allow you to cross the river. The facilities are clean and well kept. There is little to no shade so it gets hot when the sun is out. But otherwise, great place.
May 14, 2025 · Patty SchorrThe RV park has undergone renovations since our last visit with paved roads, sites, and bath houses. Lovely setting right on the river, quiet, and clean. The only complaint is the online reservation system wouldn't allow a same day booking, saying all sites were full. Upon calling the office, we were able to book and there were plenty of unoccupied sites available.
Apr 28, 2025 · Marcy “msbones” PolzinDowntown Riverside RV Park is a great place to stay. We were very pleasantly surprised at the unique campsite. We like level, concrete sites and having a view of the Arkansas River, gated security, dump station, and the pedestrian bridge, were a real “plus!” There is lots to do in Little Rock and Hot Springs, which is not that far away! We are going back. In fact, we have made it our “go to” campground when we are in the area. Highly recommend this park. Camping Girl
Mar 14, 2025 · Juana BaconThe family and I truly enjoyed our stay at this RV park. This site is extremely clean and well maintained. The view is beautiful right at the river. Each pad has 50 amp circuits, water hookup and dump stations with 110 volt GFCI receptacles. There is also a nice pavilion and places throughout the park to sit and enjoy the view. This is a wonderful, peaceful park that's gated also with laundry, bath hoses, restrooms, and free wifi. What more could we ask for. The owners and office staff were super kind. This will not be our last visit. Thank you 🙏🏾
May 23, 2025 · Shannon DavidsonWhat a pleasant surprise! Easy parking, walking distance to restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. Management is nice & friendly. We stayed one night in site 21/21b, and we're already planning to make a return visit to explore the area.
