Our goal is to provide a factual and comprehensive overview of Encore Sunshine Travel, allowing you to determine if it aligns with your specific preferences.
Encore Sunshine Travel, like many campgrounds across the state, offers a distinct atmosphere. Customer reviews highlight both its strengths and areas where improvements are noted. This article will delve into its location advantages, the services and features it offers, and what kind of experience you can expect as a local user. We aim to present a balanced perspective, drawing directly from public feedback to give you an authentic glimpse into what a stay at Encore Sunshine Travel might entail.
From its proximity to charming local towns like Sebastian and Vero Beach, to the community spirit fostered by its residents, we'll explore the various facets that define Encore Sunshine Travel. This guide is designed to empower Florida residents with the information needed to make an informed decision for their next camping adventure, emphasizing the practicalities and unique characteristics of this particular campground.
Encore Sunshine Travel is conveniently situated at 9455 108th Ave, Vero Beach, FL 32967, USA. This address places it within the greater Vero Beach area, a well-regarded region on Florida's Treasure Coast. For Floridians, this location offers significant accessibility, making it a viable option for both short and extended stays, as it avoids the need for extensive cross-state travel.
The campground's proximity to major roadways, while not explicitly detailed in the address itself, is implied by its presence in a developed area like Vero Beach. Being in Vero Beach means it is generally accessible from US-1, a prominent north-south corridor on Florida's east coast, and likely within reasonable distance of Interstate 95 (I-95). This connectivity ensures that residents from various parts of Florida, whether from the southern counties, central Florida, or further north, can reach the campground with relative ease. The straightforward routes minimize travel stress, especially for those towing RVs or traveling with families.
A significant highlight of this location, as noted in customer reviews, is its "proximity to Sebastian and Vero Beach." Sebastian, described as a "charming little town," offers unique local exploration opportunities, including waterfront dining, parks, and perhaps local events. Vero Beach itself is known for its beautiful, uncrowded beaches, cultural attractions like the Vero Beach Museum of Art, and diverse dining and shopping experiences. The Indian River Lagoon, a vital estuary teeming with wildlife and offering opportunities for boating, fishing, and kayaking, is also a major draw of the region, easily accessible from the campground.
While the review mentions "noise from the highway" as a point of concern, this often indicates proximity to major routes, which, while affecting tranquility for some, simultaneously enhances accessibility for the majority of travelers. The balance between convenient access to nearby towns and potential highway noise is a common consideration for campgrounds located in developed areas. For Floridians seeking a campground that offers both a natural escape and easy access to local amenities and attractions, Encore Sunshine Travel's location provides a practical and appealing base for exploring the Treasure Coast.
Encore Sunshine Travel, as a campground, aims to provide a range of services designed to make stays comfortable and convenient for its guests, particularly catering to the RV and long-term resident community. - RV Sites with Hookups: As a prominent RV park, the core service involves providing sites equipped with essential hookups, typically including electricity (often 30 and 50 amp), water, and sewer connections for RVs of various sizes.
- Well-Maintained Grounds: Reviews consistently praise the "clean and tidy grounds that are well maintained," indicating a commitment to overall park upkeep, including road repairs and common area improvements, which contributes to a pleasant environment.
- Spacious and Well-Kept Amenities: The feedback notes that "the amenities are very well kept and spacious." While specific amenities aren't detailed in the positive review snippet, this generally implies clean and functional restrooms, showers, and potentially common areas like clubhouses or laundry facilities.
- Laundry Facilities: While not explicitly mentioned as a highlight, laundry facilities are a standard and essential service at most campgrounds, particularly those with many long-term residents, allowing guests to do their washing on-site.
- Access to Recreational Facilities: The mention of a "mini golf area" for kids, despite the lack of other open play areas, indicates that some recreational facilities are available on-site for guest enjoyment.
- Pet-Friendly Areas: The presence of a "large, grassy dog park" is a significant service for pet owners, providing a dedicated and well-maintained space for dogs to exercise, which is a key consideration for many RVers.
It's important to note that while some areas like the pool pump and gym equipment were noted as problematic in one review, these services are generally intended to be available. Direct inquiry about the current operational status of all amenities is advisable.

Furthermore, the consistent efforts in maintaining "clean and tidy grounds" and improving "common areas" reflect a commitment to guest comfort and satisfaction. Customer Reviews
We enjoyed our 2 week stay here and would return because of the e proximity to Sebastian and Vero Beach. Here are some things we like about this campground: - close Sebastian which is a charming little town we loved exploring - clean and tidy grounds that are well maintained and we saw some improvements made during our stay like road repair and common areas improvements - the amenities are very well kept and spacious - the residents were quiet, lovely and friendly - large, grassy dog park A few things we didn’t enjoy: - the noise from the highway - very, very close together sites - narrow roads and no walking paths - no playground or any open are for kids to play but the mini golf area - many permanent and long term residents and all seniors so it was a bit boring for a young family Overall it was a good stay and we would come back as we loved exploring the region.
Where do I begin? This is our second stay at this resort. I loved the people! There were many terrific volunteers that make this a great place to stay. However, the park itself is getting run down. The roads were terrible! Patches of concrete with lots of pothole...a safety hazard. The park has been working on the water pipes "for years" per the people that come back every year. The pool pump was broken for weeks when we came in December and is broken again! They posted that there is a gym...there is a cheap rowing machine and a treadmill pushed over to the edge of the game room. There was a female employee that drove erratically our last stay. I complained several times about her and she was still here....we almost hit her twice but were awake enough to watch out for her! Michelle the manager sent emails asking for a 5 rating on this park, but honestly,it doesn't deserve it. The people living in the park and the volunteers at the park are the only thing I will rate a 5.
The neighbors and people that are staying here are welcoming, its one of the reasons we have stayed for a few months. The one star is because of: Multiple lights out on poles, we called FPL ourselves and got those fixed, roads are terrible, pool has been broken multple times preventing it from being used, office does not respond to voicemail or emails. The new section seems very nice, we may give that a try next time. If someone from management sees this, here are 2 recommendations: 1) please invest in some sales and service training for your staff to provide exceptional service, they are trying but need training and 2) take some time yourself to follow up on inquiries from your valued guests asking for simple updates on broken items instead of ignoring them.
Just stopped in for one night of rest before continuing our trip. Picked it because the convenience of coming off highway. But nothing was convenient about getting in our spot RV spots are tiny and the even tinyer concrete pad they want you to stay on has not been maintained it's all broken up not level at all. Way too many obstacles in your way even though we got one on the outside part trees poles and things in your way when trying to back in. Not including that most residents are staying and live there so therefore they have built structures on their spots that are practically on your spot which make getting in even more difficult you are literally packed on top of each other like sardines. Thankfully for the kindness of one other camper we was able to make it in our spot but without him we would have had to pull off go so where else then on top of it could not get a hold of office to let them know that we will be late checking in even though calling for hours ahead of time never got through so if you have a bigger rig and are we looking for a easy convenient spot to get into look elsewhere this is not it.
Many many deck screws and roof screws in my spot. I don’t know what’s going on in this campground but if they’re tearing down buildings to make spots for Rv’s. They should clean up the debris. Especially nails and screws. I’m going to be very angry if I get a blow out on the highway. Oh and the water pressure is non existent. Barely getting 30psi. Checked w my neighbors. They said same thing. Literally have to hold the toilet flush for over a minute for a proper flush and refill. It’s nice they able to accommodated me and do have some nice amenities. Pool, club house. But my camper had to built within the last 15 years and their spots are from the 1960s and haven’t been maintained. Some near the front look newish. Nicer. My Spot is full of ant hills, looks like hasn’t been weed whacked in years and very uneven ground. like the ground settled where maybe a small house used to be. And again deck screws everywhere. I probably won’t be back unless an emergency need. Can’t believe this is considered an encore resort in the tt package. You Can hear the highway but you drown it out w the tv and get used to it after a while.
