The accessibility of Florence RV Park is a significant advantage for South Carolina locals and travelers alike. The park is noted for being "convenient to I-95," which is a major interstate highway running along the East Coast. This direct access to I-95 makes it an exceptionally easy stop for RVers traveling north or south through South Carolina. Whether you're heading to the coast, returning from the mountains, or on a longer cross-state journey, pulling off and rejoining the interstate is remarkably straightforward. This ease of access is crucial for overnight stays, allowing weary travelers to quickly reach their site without navigating complex city streets. While the proximity to the interstate and industrial areas contributes to some ambient noise, the trade-off is unparalleled convenience for on-the-road efficiency. The park's location also provides relatively easy access to local Florence amenities, including gas stations, restaurants, and stores, within a short driving distance, making it a practical and functional "pit stop" for all essential needs.

  • On-Site Staff: The presence of "nice staff" suggests that there are personnel available at the office to assist with check-in, provide information, and address basic concerns during operating hours.

We stopped for the night to get ahead of some storms that where coming and car also was having a problem. The people who worked there new the storms where coming and still stuck us in a site that was not leavel and flooded. My husband had to unhook everything with 4 plus inches of water. What made this worse was there where empty sites that where not flooding. When we dove out we saw a few sites that would work. I called the office and they where rude about it. They did not want to work with me on their mistakes. Also if you want quiet this is not a good choice. We heard dump truck/ the factory all night. I 95 was not the noise. My last bit is i have never had a campground charge me for my kids. That was a bit much.

I don't know why this place doesn't have a 5 star rating!!! This is an awesome RV campground!!! So nice on the phone, we checked in just a few minutes before noon with no problems! Really nice lady at check in!! Air-conditioning in the laundry room and it's very clean and reasonable! The pool is huge and refreshing! Definitely could see myself coming back. No worries about be close to the interstate. You can see the traffic but the beautiful pond with geese make up for it. I don't hear a thing inside the camper!!! Just love it here. Very pet friendly with a nice doggy park!

What a nice stay. Super friendly people running the place. Patrons very friendly. The heated pool was great after a long drive. HUGE, spotless shower, bathrooms. Stayed here overnight, but wished we could have stayed longer. Hope to come back sometime.
