Customer Reviews
The cabins are awesome! The outdoor pools are awesome they both have small slides and one has a diving board. The indoor pool has too much chlorine and is not big enough for the amount of people that come off season. For 2 years now the beach and the grass are full of poop. It's disgusting! The cabins are awesome. I have stayed in them many times but don't go to the beach. The rock climbing and the zip lining are awesome also! The food girl has not been open every time. I'm here and the recreation hall has certain things but sometimes they don't do things like the movies because they say nobody shows up so not a lot going on there. The ice skating is fun that and that is year-round. All in all, it's a beautiful place to stay with many things to do yet has many disappointments that could be fixed.
Very helpful staff. Beautiful location. Beautiful, clean pool. Good amount of site space, with plenty of trees. My only negative is that some of the "permanent" or long term sites are not well kept by the owners. Some look like shacks.
Beautiful and serene views from everywhere in the park. Camper/RV sites are in good condition and not too close to neighbors. The docks, beach area, pool and gym are all in great condition. Bathhouses are well maintained. Be sure to check out Battlefield Coffee down the road!
We stayed in a cabin, which was clean and well-maintained. Towels and linens were provided, and the kitchen was stocked with dishes. The cabin area was neat and included nice amenities like rocking chairs, gas grill and washer and dryer. Our cabin also had a jetted tub in the upstairs bathroom, which was a nice touch. The resort offers a variety of amenities, including three pools, disc golf, mini golf, and a gym with activities. We used the indoor pool, but be aware that the pool noodles are reserved strictly for water aerobics. Bring your own towel for pool. Towels are not provided at the pool area. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The main reason for our visit was to check out the RV spots for a potential summer trip. However, we found that many of the sites were occupied by long-term residents, giving more of a trailer park feel rather than a traditional RV park atmosphere. This wasn’t the vibe we were looking for. Overall, the resort has great amenities and well-kept cabin areas, but the RV section may not be ideal for those seeking a more polished, short-term stay experience. We had fun for our 3 day visit with a 15 year old. The internet /wifi was also good.
DO NOT PURCHASE ANY OWNERSHIP WITH THEM! My mother purchased with them 30 years ago, which she shouldn't have- it's not a nice facility. She has tried and tried again over the years to get out of it and they tell her she can't. She is now 75 years old and not in a healthy position to go to a campground and not only is there no email address to contact, and their phone number doesn't work to get in touch with anyone. Now they are sending her to collections- This is elderly abuse. DO NOT Support this facility.
