Heirloom Hamlet About

For South Carolina residents and travelers passing through the beautiful Lowcountry, finding a campground that offers both affordability and a truly welcoming atmosphere can be a delightful discovery. Heirloom Hamlet, located in Ridgeland, SC, is not your typical commercial campground. It’s a unique, family-run homestead that extends its kindness and hospitality to RVers and campers seeking a peaceful, convenient, and genuinely friendly stop. More than just a place to park your rig, Heirloom Hamlet offers a glimpse into a mindful, eco-friendly way of life, all while providing excellent customer service and easy access to major travel routes.

In a world often dominated by large, impersonal camping resorts, Heirloom Hamlet stands out with its commitment to a "different vibe." As described by its owners, it’s first and foremost their home, and they strive to interact warmly with guests, akin to "the good old days." This personal touch, combined with their dedication to sustainability through features like eco-toilets and an aim towards self-reliance, creates a memorable experience that goes beyond simply having a place to stay. For South Carolinians looking for an affordable, charming, and genuinely supportive overnight stop or a short retreat, Heirloom Hamlet offers an unparalleled level of care and a refreshing change of pace.

Heirloom Hamlet is conveniently located at 986 Carters Mill Rd, Ridgeland, SC 29936, USA. Its strategic position offers immediate and easy access to Interstate 95, a major north-south artery, making it an ideal stop for travelers commuting between Florida, Georgia, and points north. The quick on-and-off access from I-95 (likely Exit 21, as it's the closest to Carters Mill Rd in Ridgeland) is a significant advantage, particularly for those with large RVs or trailers looking for a hassle-free overnight pull-in.

While providing a sense of "country" tranquility, Heirloom Hamlet's location in Ridgeland also means that essential services and amenities are not far away. This was the perfect spot to pull into for the night while traveling. Curt was very pleasant. Love their little Homestead. Very affordable compared to other campgrounds who wanted $70-$90 for the night which is crazy because you have your own accommodations. Will definitely be stopping here again if passing through towing our trailer. Thanks again
