Great place to relax, or have a blast!!
Aug 26, 2024 · Joni YeanyI spent the better part of my childhood at Clark's with my Grandmother and Grandfather. Both were retired and this was their home for the Summer. It was a great place to be a kid. To quote the late Don Williams from his song Lord Have Mercy on a Country Boy, "There wasn't no place I couldn't go With a 22 rifle and a fishin' pole.". I spent my days running up and down the Hemlock all the way to the Porcupine Creek searching for Trout and would spend my evenings fishing the banks of the Allegheny in President. The owners were great. Their names were Bob and Nancy Ruff. The Campground was clean and all the camp sites were well taken care of. I make the trip back every now and then to go down Memory Lane.
May 12, 2019 · Hubbel RickelPrimarily a campground for seasonal camping, but if you can find the owner (he lives across the street; an older fellow who earns a +1 for his kindness) they do have a spot on a grassy knoll overlooking the Allegheny River where you can pitch a tent. Bathrooms are primitive pit-style; no showers.
