We stayed at Hickory Holler for 2 nights - September 30 and October 1 as a place to stop on a long journey home to Oklahoma. The campground has a FHU section and a couple of water/electric sections - we were in the FHU. One of the camp owners met us as we drove up to the campground for our stay - the owners are a very sweet young couple. We were led to our camp site and give the option to stay in the backup site we had booked or a pull through site (a camper had left early and opened up the pull through) We chose the pull through. The FHU section is pretty tight and filled with what looked like campers parked long term with little or no maintenance that made that section look neglected. But, the electric/water sites area were beautiful around the ponds. The view we had from our site that looked across one of the ponds was like a picture. We would probably stay again but would stay in the water/electric section because campers weren't on top of each other.

So blessed to have found this place! Came from Eastern Canada and struggled to find a campsite open this time of year until here! We ended up having to stay a couple extra nights to fix an issue with our RV, owners were super helpful and kind. Beautiful spot to be, quiet and peaceful.
