I haven’t stayed here, but I went by this place today. I’m having a wedding in the area in a few months, and I want to be able to recommend an RV park. Let’s just say, I would never recommend this one. There was junk strewn about and a car on blocks… it looked horrible and absolutely nothing like the pictures on google (except maybe the dilapidated barn). I didn’t give it a 1-star because I didn’t actually stay here, but I would never, ever recommend this place to someone. Especially when there’s another suitable RV park right up the street.
Just stayed here a week and loved it. If you want to get away from typical RV parks and have privacy and space, this is for you. It’s like dropping your RV on a 30 acre ranch and living the country life. It’s also only five minutes from quaint Wimberley and their neat shops and restaurants. Matt, the owner, went over the top make sure we enjoyed our stay. It was one of our best RVing experiences for simply having the place to ourselves. As for possible negatives for others, maybe, is there are no amenities like bathrooms/showers, rec rooms, pools etc. You’re truly on a ranch. However, you’re within a few miles of anything you may need and the owner is very responsive as well.
