This location is particularly advantageous for RV travelers, offering a peaceful, rural feel while maintaining excellent accessibility to a wide range of attractions and services.

The park’s accessibility is a significant highlight. Pisgah Highway (US-151) provides a direct route, making it easy to find and reach. This allows for convenient day trips to stunning overlooks, hiking trails, and various natural attractions.

Services Offered

Hominy Valley RV Park provides a focused set of services tailored to the needs of RV travelers, emphasizing comfort, convenience for RVs, and a peaceful environment. • RV Sites with Hookups: The park offers a variety of RV sites, including "Creekside" sites (all back-in) and sites "across the street" that are noted as "huge." All sites are equipped for RVs, implying the provision of essential hookups such as electric (including 50 amp service mentioned as big rig friendly), water, and sewer connections.

  • Quiet and Clean Environment: Reviews consistently highlight the park as "perfect, quiet, and clean." While specific details on daily cleaning routines are not given, the overall cleanliness is a significant service that enhances guest comfort.
  • Dedicated Owner/Management: The owner, Fred, is frequently praised as "very accommodating, friendly, and professional." This direct and positive interaction with management is a key service, providing responsive support and local knowledge.
  • Mail and Package Reception (Implied): While not explicitly stated as a service, the ability to "get mail and packages" is a common offering at RV parks that cater to longer stays or provide convenience for travelers. It's advisable to confirm this directly.

A perfect, quiet, and clean RV park just outside of Asheville. The owner Fred is very accommodating, friendly, and professional. We stayed next to the creek in the lower section (across the street) and it was a beautiful area with lots of open land. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area again. Highly recommended!

Hominy Valley RV Park is fantastic. However, they do not have restrooms or laundry facilities. They have two sections to camp. One part is referred to as Creekside. Those sites are all back-in, and big rig friendly. We stayed across the street, and the sites on this side were huge. However, the road to enter the campsite is a little narrow and steep. Still big rig friendly, but a few sharp turns were needed to enter the park. The owner stopped by to see how everything was going. He was friendly and knew the area very well. Sprint is almost non-existent. However, Verizon was workable with downloads of 10mbps. WiFi had a weak signal but was usable as well. The park is located about 10 minutes from Asheville, and right off the Blue Ridge Parkway.

This is a nice little park. A small park with maybe eight sites for $50 a night cash. We never met the owner but texted with him and always got replies. I think this park is in a great location. It was clean and quiet.

This is a very quiet little valley with only 9 RV sites in a farm-like setting. Spacious, level and FHU. We had a 50A site along the creek, had a nice concrete patio with a trellis plus a swing under a gazebo just in front of us on the creek. Great WiFi too! We had more than enough room for our 44’ Class A and our tow vehicle. The owner is very down to earth and great to talk to. We had a minor mechanical issue on the way and the owner recommended two local heavy diesel places to get it fixed and that he’d worked with previously. Highly recommended, especially if you like a quiet spot with great stargazing. Will absolutely be back when we come through the Asheville/Candler area again. One of our new favorites!
